BERLIN (Reuters) - The United States bugged European Union offices and gained access to EU internal computer networks, according to secret documents cited in a German magazine on Saturday, the latest in a series of exposures of alleged U.S. spy programs.

Still, I can't help but to hear a little of Captain Renault in all these hurt feelings, shocking umbrage and insulted pride. All under the rubric of wagging their fingers while also saving faces (and behinds), careful not to act too uppity and really piss Uncle Sam off. Well, all except for the Russians and the Chinese. But if this keeps up, the US will find it hard for any European country to willingly extradite him back to the US and not face a popular revolt! Everyone's pissed-off at the moment so the less said the better.
Still, I don't think this thing is over by a long shot....
