This month: All of you with 7 to 14 degrees of Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) need to keep your head. Jupiter is moving into the Pluto/Uranus territory and expanding that revolutionary, demonic energy. And Venus moves in the configuration to bring problems in relationships and then Mars bringing anger. A very bumpy ride for you this month.
Dates to Watch:
Aug 4 – Sun Trine Uranus. This is entertaining and fun, if you like surprise visitors which is what can happen on this aspect.
Aug 6 – New Moon at 14 Leo. The start of the month. Get something moving today and you will see it manifest at the full moon.
Aug 7 – Jupiter Opposite Pluto. This is an expansive aspect that is expanding Pluto energy. There could be violence in the world or you could get way too extravagant and issue ultimatums left and right especially if you have the ascendant or personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars) or the ascendant at 9 Cancer, Aries, Libra and/or Capricorn.
Aug 8 – Mercury enters Leo until Aug 23. Mercury in Leo tends to exaggerate a little or maybe a lot. Don’t believe all of the stories told to you during this period and zip up your lip also.
Aug 11 – Mercury square Saturn. This is a downer especially if you have the ascendant or personal planets in 5 Leo and/or Scorpio. Mercury is your mind and you can get really morose, depressed and negative today. Just hide. No one wants to hear you moan.
Aug 14 – Mercury Trine Uranus. A good day for some brilliant off the wall ideas. You are sparkling today.
Aug 16 – Venus enters Libra until Sep 11. Venus is so happy in Libra. It can play kissy face, plan a wedding (even if it’s all in your head), get on Match.com (even if there are some total losers on there) and plan a party (even thought no one may come). But go ahead enjoy this romantic energy.
Aug 20 – Full Moon at 28 Aquarius. This is the peak of the month, a time to realize what you have planned since the New Moon on the 6th.
Aug 21 – Jupiter Square Uranus. Another explosive energy like the Jupiter/Pluto. This aspect really does rule explosions. These are both “get out of town” planets so you may be very restless and want to do something unusual, maybe shocking especially strong if you have the ascendant and/or personal planets at 12 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn. Libra and/or Aries).
Aug 22 – Sun Enters Virgo until Sep 22. Happy Birthday all of you Virgos out there. Where would we be without you? Everything would be a mess. There would be clutter everywhere.
Aug 23 – Mercury enters Virgo until Sep 9. Now the mind gets really sharp. You can concentrate and think about practical things.
Aug 24 – Venus Square Pluto at 9 Libra/Capricorn. You are way too controlling and manipulative to be in the relationship you are in and he knows it. How embarrassing!
Sun Conjunct Mercury at 1 degree of Virgo. Some bright ideas come in today. Maybe an idea about taking a trip.
Aug 25 – Mercury Opposite Neptune at 3 Virgo/Pisces. You better keep a list today of what you want to do. You are a little spacey. This aspect can also bring in scandalous news.
Aug 26 – Venus opposite Uranus at 11 Libra Aries. You want to get away from everyone today. You feel smothered. Don’t be too abrupt when you leave. You may want to come back.
Sun Opposite Neptune 3 Virgo/Pisces. Avoid making practical and financial decisions. Take it slow. Good for a get away to the beach.
Aug 27 – Venus Square Jupiter. Personal matters are upsetting. Wait awhile before making a decision.
Mars enters Leo until Oct 15. Mars gets really feisty in Leo. He wants to go out and knock someone’s block off.
Aug 28 – Mercury Trine Pluto. A good day for some investigation and research for subjects you have wanted to explore.
Outer Planet Transits
JUPITER is in Cancer until July 2014. This month he will move from 8 to 13 degrees of Cancer. You will now feel enthusiastic and exuberant. A good time to expand your life with education and experiences. Look to the house in your natal chart that holds 8 degree to 13 degrees of Cancer or Capricorn. This is the area of your life that will experience this expansion.
SATURN is in Scorpio until Dec 24, 2014. This month Saturn is moves from 5 to 7 degrees of Scorpio. If you have the ascendant or any personal planets at 5 to 7 degrees of Scorpio or Taurus in your natal chart, you may be in store for some hard lessons around the issues ruled by the planet and the house the planet is in or rules. Scorpio rules passion, sex and depths of all kinds and Saturn may ask you to take on more responsibility for how you control your rage and psychological expression.
URANUS is in Aries until 2018. This month Uranus is retrograde and moves from 12 to 11 degrees of Aries. We all feel a need to rebel; we want more freedom and want to make some radical changes in our life. I believe in “cooperating with the inevitable”. If you have Uranus in a challenging aspect to your ascendant or personal planets, go on a long vacation, move, or make some major changes in your life.
NEPTUNE (creativity, sensitivity, escapism, dreams) is in Pisces until 2026 and is moving retrograde. This month Neptune is moving from 4 to 3 degrees of Pisces. A lack of focus, a sense of drifting or an inability to see a betrayal or disappointment until it’s too late can be experienced by those of you with the Sun or Personal Planets at 5 or 4 degrees of Pisces or Virgo. For the enlightened out there, Neptune can also bring artistic, musical, creative expression, increased dreams and spiritual insights. Watch for some really inspired films to come out during the time Neptune is in Pisces.
PLUTO is in Capricorn until 2023. This month Pluto is retrograde and stays at 9 degrees of Capricorn. Everyone is feeling the urge to purge and to find his or her truth. Profound changes will be felt especially by those with Sun, ascendant or personal planets at 9 degrees of Capricorn or Cancer.
