Open Sewage Canal Transformed Into Lush Waterway
“It used to drive us crazy, the trash and sewage, the bad smells and children getting sick with dengue fever,” says Gloria Solomon. With her husband and four children, 50-year-old Solomon lives in a tiny, eight sq metre shanty in an informal settlement in Manila. Their home backs on to a small stream, Estero de Paco, a tributary of the city’s Pasig River.

Loved and Loving - Dorothy Maclean
Dear Reader,
Please give yourselves permission to imbibe and accept the following in joy, love, peace and harmony. Thanks, Dorothy.
In my life, I have learned many lessons and would like to address one in particular. I believe that if you can accept this lesson, too, as I did, you will find a source of help within yourself that will enable you to feel at home in this world.
I was born in Canada in 1920 of extremely loving parents, yet as a young child I felt lost and alone. I had negative attitudes about myself which grew very strong as the years went by, though I shared them with no one. These attitudes no doubt affected my ability to live a happy and productive life in the world.

Inject Happiness Through Creativity - Aligned Holistics
What makes people happy?
Lots of people. Lots of answers. But there’s a common thread that’s rarely discussed: Creativity.
In a study of college students, “people who reported feeling happy and active were more likely to be doing something creative at the time,” state researchers at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro.
The good news is that whether you’re a late-night crafter or professional musician, the end-result was irrelevant. Creative people aren’t happier because they are producing something they get credit for. It’s the creative process that impacts overall happiness.

The Truest Dream of All - Heavenletters

A land of peace exists. You have an inkling of it even as turmoil stirs within you. There are moments when you are acquainted with peace. More and more of these moments, and the innocent world will conform to this peace. Of course, this is so. Enough people having peace within can only result in a land of peace.
Everyone feels what is going on in the environment. When there is an argument, a house absorbs the effects. When there is calm, a house absorbs calm as well. And laughter! A house can only do what it can do. A house does not originate action. It is a reactor. What an important role you play in the world.
Enough children of Mine in the world living peace, and peace will be. Peace will take over the world. This is not a new idea.
You know that you are on the verge of this. It is also possible, perhaps likely, that when this Heavenletter comes out, peace will have already taken over. In any case, peace is imminent.
Please note that peace is not dull. Peace doesn’t mean perfect harmony. There will be disagreement yet disagreement without divisive anger. There will be more of reaching a solution rather than a fight to the finish about who is right or who has the most power. There will be a desire for give and take, not static, but real and alive. Good feeling can come from disagreement. Two parties can be happy rather than one or the other or neither.

Feeling Overwhelmed? - Ascending Health
Alright. It’s time for me to start talking about what we are all experiencing, because I know I am not the only one feeling this way…
I am completely OVERWHELMED at the moment. Most of the time, I feel like running away. For some reason, that seems easier than dredging through the density so many of us are having difficulty releasing right now.
I feel like I have been struggling for so long. I am tired…
Taking responsibility for yourself is exhausting… and, wading through lifetimes of fears, judgements and belief systems is not exactly my idea of a good time.

I Do - The Creator Writings
There may be days where you feel invisible….I see you.
There may be times where it feels that the good deeds you are participating in go unnoticed……I see them.
There may be times where you feel completely and utterly alone…..I am there.
There may be times where you feel that no one understand you……I do.
There may be times where it feels that no one hears you…..I am listening.
During your most challenging moments know that they will pass and that I am always there supporting, loving, caring for and cheering for you. ~ Creator

Daily Message ~ Wednesday April 9, 2014 - Trinity Esoterics
We would like to invite you to participate in an experiment. Think of one area of your life that you would like to change. It can be your finances, your health, your love life, your relationships, your monetary abundance. Choose the aspect that you feel you are blocked with, or would like to feel energetic movement or improvement with. Then, every morning, for the next 40 days, when you wake up we encourage you to begin your day with gratitude for your blessings and then surrender that aspect to Source and your highest good. So for example, you may surrender your day to your highest good and your ultimate abundance. Or, you could surrender to your highest good and most vibrant health.

My Call For Humanity - Jamie Dunmore
So here I am, standing alone in the open. I’m here with a message hoping to repair what’s broken.
Nature is struggling, humanity’s not on track. We’ve got our heads in the sand and our pride intact.
We seek fulfillment through wealth but do we achieve it? We want prosperity through consumerism but is it worth it?
Have we actually found freedom or have we lost it, because all we do is follow a system and never really challenge it.
Can you relate to that? Or is the world to blind to see? I’d always seek the truth but care what my peers thought of me.
I saw a different perspective and struggled by the hour. See I knew ignorance was bliss, but knowledge could give me power.
So now I call for humanity, not just for one nation; I’m opposing separation and standing up to segregation.
Whether Religious or Atheist, in essence we’re the same. Stereotypes are man-made and it was man who created the game.

He Lives In A Tree, Doesn’t Wear Shoes, And Brushes His Teeth With A Pinecone - True Activist
A great example of someone who doesn't limit themselves based upon society's standards!
(True Activist) According to polls, the majority of Americans and many other societies are in favor of change. An estimated 20 percent believe the States are on the right track, but when it comes to health care, environmental reform, and economic division, the masses believe change is imperative. But how far are many willing to go in order to live a more sustainable, connected, and happier life?
With the conveniences of today (packaged food, media frenzy, rapid transportation), it is difficult for many to know a life different from that which has been shown to degenerate, numb, and dull the senses. Not often do kids summon creativity to work random objects into play things, for now their noses are pressed against tablets, IPads, and television screens. But things are changing, and the few, but inspirational, examples which shed light on another way of life may cause perceived ‘ideals’ to change.
For Mick Dodge, his dynamic transformation from living what modern society deems ‘appropriate’ came 25 years ago. He decided to ditch his shoes, grow his beard, and leave his family and all rest in modern civilization to live alone in the Pacific Northwest’s Hoh rain forest. But he is not a complete isolationist; he joined a community of mountain dwellers and agreed (with some persistent effort from producers) to be the subject of National Geographic’s series “The Legend of Mick Dodge”.

The Difference Between Believing In Truth And Living It
Humans have this uncanny ability to recognize Truth, and I'm not talking about the small temporary truths like "I ate a sandwich for lunch yesterday", but the big Universal Truths. Subconsciously, part of them knows it's true, it sounds good, even if they don't consciously understand why. It's no mystery to us here as to why that is, we're not kidding when we say every Human Being IS GOD, though very few are aware of what this really means. Even to the skeptic and the atheist, something like Love or the profound wonder of the Universe is still very appealing, humans are drawn to those things like moths to a flame.
Now there's a seeming contradiction here, because if people can naturally recognize truth, then why is there still so much ignorance on the planet? Well it's one thing to recognize truth, it's another thing to believe it, and it's something else entirely to actually live that truth. For that, you have to embrace it, truly understand it, and also integrate it into your life.

Sacred Humor: Cultivating a Good Sense of Humor - Fractal Enlightenment
“Humor must not professedly teach and it must not professedly preach, but it must do both if it would live forever.” – Mark Twain
A good sense of humor transubstantiates the world. It dethrones the emperor in the mind while revealing he’s not even wearing any clothes. By maintaining a healthy sense of humor we avoid the stultifying situation of being in total control of ourselves, and the equally fruitless situation of losing control altogether.
