Alan Watts: “Imagine You Are A Baby Again.”

Alan Watts presents a superbly challenging way of looking at things, which is one of the reasons I’ve always appreciated hearing his lectures and reading his books. In this enlightening discussion, which is, in this case, accompanied by a beautiful musical score and animation, he challenges us to imagine the world new again, through our nascent consciousness.

What would it be like to be a baby again? How would it feel for the world to be completely new through our eyes? And how different is the new vision of the world compared to our ideas as adults?

Tasting Death

We do not feel life, until we have tasted death.

Our mind and ego create a persona that masks the true life within us. Death’s somber presence drops the curtain of the mind and ego, revealing the bare innocence within us.

We have nowhere to go, but to embrace the death within us. Death reveals the deep landscape of our inner being and unveils the knowingness of our true nature.

Welcome any death that touches you, even your own.  Allow the majesty of our soul to baptize you into communion with truth, awareness, and reality.

Namaste.

How Mushrooms Have Created The Language Of Nature

There’s this weird similarity of the neurotransmitter serotonin (happiness) and the “neurotransmitter” psilocybin (shrooms). I mean, chemically, they’re very very similar. We don’t understand the messaging system within mycelium as well as we do that of the brain—most of what we know about the brain is very preliminary.

Through networking mycelium in combination with mutualistic bacteria we might be able to create living computer membranes that would help us make the bridge between humans and nature.
I think nature is speaking rather vociferously to us, but we can’t hear what the message is.

So being able to create these interfaces, directly to the traffic of nature that’s given us birth, I think is going to be critical to human survival. – Paul Stamets, Omni Reboot

Monsanto/Bayer’s GM Plants Contaminate Europe Despite Ban

New evidence reveals that despite a ban on cultivation of GM rapeseed in Europe, Monsanto and Bayer’s plants are now freely growing there.

A new study published in PLoS titled ,”Unexpected Diversity of Feral Genetically Modified Oilseed Rape (Brassica napus L.) Despite a Cultivation and Import Ban in Switzerland,” is believed to be the first report of its kind showing that despite a cultivation and seed import ban of genetically modified (GM) oilseed rape in Switzerland, Monsanto and Bayer’s GM plants have been introduced into the environment there, confirming fears that once the GM genie has been let out of the bottle it can not be put back.

Psychedelic Plant Teachers and the Limits of Normal Perception

”If life wasn’t real, it would be the craziest psychedelic trip ever.” - Joe Rogan

The former quote is a saying by Joe Rogan that has always resonated in my acoustic mind since I read it. It is a quote that makes me remember that we know nothing about what we so-call the Universe. This quote also makes me realize that the importance of psychedelic experiences is high enough to be considered as a must-do. But this must-do, far away from being a simple game for amusement and a nonsense visual experience, should be a must-do for experiencing reality in an alternative way, in a form that we do not experience with our sober senses.

Island In Scotland To Be First 100% Self-Sustaining Place On Earth

A little odd to say it's the first completely self-sustaining place, since people were already doing that thousands of years ago, but interesting nonetheless! It is possible to live in harmony with the Planet.

Virescent mountains, verdant valleys, and clean energy. Sound like a scene from The Sound of Music or a fictional novel about utopia? It is neither. It is in fact, the description of the one place on this planet that is about to be 100% self-sustaining – Scotland’s Eigg Island. Eigg has a pristine landscape, a broad array of sustainable strategies and gets over 90% of its energy from renewable sources. Along with its witty accent, the Scots offer an example of how to live well, without fossil fuels and rampant ecological and environmental degradation.

“Dr. Livingstone, I presume?” No, we have new heroes. They are the residents of Scotland’s forward thinking Eigg.

I’m NOT Against Monsanto…

I’m not against Monsanto, I’m pro-organic food. (Calm down.. keep reading! LOL). I’m not angry at meat-eaters, I choose to be vegan.

I’m not against men and women getting married, but I see no reason why two women or men shouldn’t marry one another as well. You see, instead of bashing what I hate, I promote what I love instead. I don’t think large corporations are evil, I just try to support local businesses whenever I can. It’s that simple. I choose to operate from a place of love, not hate (it’s better for my health).

Secret Space Program Conference Reveals Intel On Black Ops Technology, ET’s, And Free Energy

The Secret Space Program held their 2nd annual conference in San Mateo, CA on June 28-29, 2014, where a host of influential speakers armed with well documented and straightforward facts and backgrounds in the military, space and financial systems presented compelling evidence of a Black Budget space program woven into the military industrial and defense complex through a hidden finance system run by the Bilderberg group.

The vast and relatively yet unreported secret space programs underway are financed by the formation of President Truman’s 1947 Axis Plunder, the National Security Act and the Hidden Finance System the entire world has operated under since the post WWII era. Also known as the International Monetary Fund or World Bank this rather ingenious system of hidden finance devised by what some refer to as “the Cabal” allows control of much of the world’s banking, economic and military/industrial activity.

Where Do You Jump to Next?

How lovely are the swirling heights you wish to climb. It is a breeze, you know. There is nothing hard or far about rising to where you long to rise. It is a snap. It is a natural unfolding. How does a rose unfold? This is how you fold and unfold and literally find yourself embraced in My heart and embraced to stay.

In one way, then there is nothing for you to do. In another way, there is nothing you can’t do, for whatever exists, you are. You can slip inside the unfolding rose. You can ride the clouds. You can clasp the moon and ride it too. The sun is like your engine and you can wear it like a medallion of yellow topaz. You want to read the stars? You can read the stars and listen to them like a conch. Echelons of light will slide off you and return. You can reach any height you like without effort. You can dabble your fingers in the Indian Ocean or float on the Dead Sea. When I say there isn’t anything you cannot manifest or create, I mean there isn’t anything and everything that you cannot alight on.

You can traverse from Universe to Universe. You can hop a train or a plane. You can transform and transcend. You can feel what it is to be anything you would like, what a spider feels, what a puppy or what a comet feels. You can get into anything. You can transcend anything. You can be as you want to be. You can consciously get into My heart and stay here.

In the conscious mind, totally conscious, there is not a single shadow of self. The totally conscious mind becomes qualitatively different from your unconscious mind. Hence it has been called no-mind, just to show the difference, otherwise you will get confused.

Mind is what you have. No-mind is the search of meditation. And from no-mind blossom flowers of unselfishness, of love, of compassion, of sharing.

I repeat Basho, the great Zen master, and one of the greatest poets of the world: "Sitting silently, doing nothing, the spring comes and the grass grows by itself."

This sitting silently is not avoiding life. Sitting silently is searching for life, the very source of life. And the moment you have found the source, everything grows by itself, just like when spring comes, the grass grows by itself.

Triple Water Astrology – The Critical Degree! Weekly Horoscope Starting Friday, December 26, 2014

moon goddess A3 final water

Please like my page at http://www.facebook.com/triplewaterastrology!

Saturn is still stealing the show in the transits this week. “Disciplined expansion of consciousness” is an appropriate keyphrase for this week. Sun, Vesta, Pluto, Mercury, and Venus reside in Capricorn, Saturn’s home sign, for the entire week, indicating an opportunity to use thinking, cooperation, transformative qualities, and self-expression to initiate and accomplish various concrete goals. Apollon (Transneptunian) aspects Saturn all week; Saturn gives structure to Apollon’s multiplication effect. Hard work this week has a greater than average chance of increasing returns, especially with Jupiter among the more influential energies.

What might this week portend for you? Consider your Sun sign and rising sign/ascendant as well.

Six Habits of Highly Empathic People

Roman Krznaric, Greater Good
Waking Times

If you think you’re hearing the word “empathy” everywhere, you’re right. It’s now on the lips of scientists and business leaders, education experts and political activists. But there is a vital question that few people ask: How can I expand my own empathic potential? Empathy is not just a way to extend the boundaries of your moral universe. According to new research, it’s a habit we can cultivate to improve the quality of our own lives.

But what is empathy? It’s the ability to step into the shoes of another person, aiming to understand their feelings and perspectives, and to use that understanding to guide our actions. That makes it different from kindness or pity. And don’t confuse it with the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” As George Bernard Shaw pointed out, “Do not do unto others as you would have them do unto you—they might have different tastes.” Empathy is about discovering those tastes.
