The East Coast of Tasmania has been saturated during November, with records being broken in some places. Bicheno has recorded 228mm of rain so far during November, more than four times the average and the wettest on record. Elsewhere, Friendly Beach and St Helens have also been soaked this month with 226mm and 214mm respectively, the heaviest November falls in over a decade. Further south in Hobart, almost double the average November rainfall has been recorded with 80mm for the month.

The above average November rainfall was caused by a couple of ideally placed low pressure systems around the 12th to 14th and the 21st to 24th of the month. These low pressure systems were situated in such a way that they directed moist onshore winds and heavy rain onto the east coast of the state for a number of days.

It’s truly amazing, how someone can use something as simple as baking soda or vitamin C to overcome life-threatening conditions. There are so many stories about how people utilize mega-doses of natural substances to wipe out disease, and you’re about to hear one. This story is about a 74 year old man with stomach cancer, and how he ignored chemotherapy only to overcome his disease with wheatgrass.

Danny McDonald from Dunaff, Ireland received terrible news from mainstream medical professionals at the late age of 74. After an ulcer suddenly burst within his abdomen, he was rushed to the hospital where doctors struggled to control the bleeding. But the doctors found something more; they found that a form of stomach cancer had spread throughout his body. Not surprisingly, they advised that McDonald go through intensive chemotherapy. They also told him that due to chronic stomach cancer, he would be dead within 3 months if he refused this conventional (and toxic) form of treatment.

Ellagic acid is a phytochemical (polyphenol) that your body produces in the large intestines, but it also is found in many foods. This special phytochemical has been found to be a great salve to those suffering from multiple cancers, including cervical, breast, and prostate cancers. In recent studies, ellagic acid and its metabolized products were found concentrated in the prostate tissue of male mice fed pomegranates. In human subjects who were suffering from an enlarged prostate or cancerous growth in the tissues of the prostate, those fed pomegranate juice or who ate almonds for three days prior to a surgery were found to have lesser prostate cancer cells than those who did not consume these foods.

The National Weather Service said late Sunday night that a winter storm warning for most of North Texas had been replaced with a winter weather advisory through noon Monday. A mix of rain, light freezing rain and light sleet was expected, but meteorologist Steve Fano with the weather service's Dallas-Fort Worth office said the temperatures would not be as cold as initially forecast. "They will still go below freezing in some places, just not as much below freezing as we initially thought," Fano said.
