I am pleased with your post

Many people here were discussing last night's debate (this morning) and insisting that President Obama "lost" the debate because he allowed Mitt Romney to blather on and on and lie, and did not call him on his lies. I told them there is something giong on behind the scenes. These people were and still are Obama supporters, but the lamestream media analysis of the debate made them both sad and angry. Disheartened.

But I feel as you do, that by not engaging in argument, Obama made the better statement. His opponent was obviously trying to draw him into an undignified clash, and Obama successfully avoided that vibe of anger, and behaved the way an enlightened being behaves.

The lamestream media just wants an exciting show, a shadow play that will bring them more ratings. Also, since Dan Rather was fired for telling the truth about Baby Bush, they are afraid to state the obvious truth. Then they did their "poll" which was heavily based on Republican responses - it was not a scientific study, it was just a phone poll and certainly not a random sample. But there they showed the "poll ratings" all being in favor of Mittster, and I am sure that some people believed it. They downplayed the fact that whoever they thought "won the debate", it does not necessarily change who they will vote for... another way of trying to lead the people into error.

I am glad to have this forum in which we can discuss things honestly without conflict.

I need to disagree with your comments about the debate. Mr.Romney was the winner only because he calmly called Mr Obama out on every single lie Obama was trying toss out there. Obama was lost without his teleprompter. Any lightworker, myself included can clearly see the God Light that shines from Mr. Romney eyes. The reason obama looked SO BAD, and the reason he lost the debate, is because when you start to LIE, you must continue to lie to cover all of your other lies. The human brain can only track so much data , before a telepromptor becomes mandatory. Mitt looked and sounded sharp because He was sincere and spoke with real conviction and TRUTH. When you speak from TRUTH, you dont have to worry about something you said coming back to bite you later. With respect to the opinion of the GFP and the channeled messages, as much as I would like to believe in their claims about Mr. Obama working for the ligh, I currently disagree.

The points you make are eloquent and true. The fact that you chose not to list a name has no bearing on the content of your message, despite allegations to the contrary below. I agree that Obama has been a total disappointment on many fronts, especially for the Progressives that voted for him (myself included). There are so many areas to add to your list that I could write for a while, yet I'll focus on one issue, which was my line in the sand once he entered office. This was the issue of the Telecom Immunity provision of FISA.

During the campaign leading up to the election in 2008, Obama had all the progressive rhetoric down, and I read a true belief in much of what he said. There was a vibrational resonance in his words that no other candidate had, and I believe that he wanted many of the things that he was promising. However, once it appeared that he had the nomination (I believe coinciding with a private announcement to him that he would be elected President by the Powers That Were), his rhetoric became less populist and more measured. Once in office, his first real issue of consequence (aside from apponting his insider dominated Cabinet) was the signing of the FISA bill that contained a provision to extend retroactive and future immunity from prosecution to the Telecom companies that cooperated with the Bush Administration's warrantless wiretapping programs (and god knows what else the NSA had running). Despite previous campaign promises, he reversed his position and signed the bill allowing telecom companies to skate free from fear of any accountability stemming from allowing our government to use their data streams to spy on us. These spying actions are public record through testimony from numerous whistleblowers (another black mark for Obama with Bradley Manning and Wikileaks) from various companies that participated. These spying actions continue to this day (incidentally, Qwest, now Century Link, is my service provider and they were the only major telecom to tell Bush no and even their call center customer service agents are proud that they did not agree to allow spying on American citizens).

No matter how you look at this decision of his, I see no justification for this that serves the Light. I have wanted to believe the myriad channels who state that Obama is the greatest Lightworker of all time, etc., yet time and again on issues that truly are nefarious, he has not exercised his power as President to resist the agenda. Some would say he has faced an obstructionist Congress, but that's nonsense since the Dems had control of Congress for two years, including during Telecom Immunity. Perhaps he is lulling them into submission by feigning support for the agenda? Who knows.

What I feel is ocurring is that there is a cognitive dissonance within the progressives of this country in that they so believed and hoped for a real change that admitting that Obama hasn't lived up to the hype could create a schism within their being, and that's just too troublesome to deal with. It does feel that the continued blind support for President Obama fits into the meme of external savior, much as someone below noted.

This election cycle has demonstrated clearly that our best solution for moving our Consciousness forward is not to engage in any of the polarity / duality of this world (i.e. election politics), but rather to focus upon ourselves. The answer lies within us. The holographic nature of Humanity allows us to achieve shifts in consciousness and that these shifts are immediately "uploaded" into the consciouness matrix of humanity. This method is exceedingly faster and more efficient than puting your faith and energy into someone else. Engaging in any of the duality is furthering separation from your Source. If Obama truly does begin to act like a Lightworker and begins to speak and act in Truth, then go ahead and throw your support behind those actions. However, do not place your power outside of yourself, hedging your bet that his authenticity is just waiting to emerge while you work so hard to bring it forth in yourself.

It is so easy to criticize

It is true that Obama hasn't waved his magick wand and made everything happen that he said he would do. We have all seen the obstruction by the Republicans who unprecedently abused the filibuster to "Do whatever we have to do to make Obama a one-term President" - Mitch McConnell, even if it takes the country down doing it. This is called party over country. Because of the abuse of the filibuster, it is not a truth that Obama had a Democrat majority in the first two years. Not only did ALL the Republicans vote no on anything and everything Obama and the Democrats proposed (including the proposals they themselves had previously proposed), the Blue Dog Democrats joined them. You must be aware that they all signed a pledge "No New Taxes No Matter What" for Grover Norquist, right? Shameful.

I understand some folks have strong feelings about one issue or another. But let's instead talk about some of the things Obama was able to accomplish in spite of the Republicans.

1. He ended the war in Iraq.

2. He signed the Lily Ledbetter Act, equal pay for women.

3. He repealed Don't Ask Don't Tell, allowing gays to serve openly in the military.

4. He ended media blackout on war casualties and the return of fallen soldiers.

5. He removed restrictions on stem cell research.

6. He rescued the Auto Industry.

7. He ended the US policy of torture.

8. He gave our troops better body armor.

9. Under his watch the Navy Seals rescued a Captain held by the Somali pirates and eliminated Osama Bin Ladin.

10. Closed offshore tax safe havens.

11. Instituted the AMA, or Obamacare, originally designed by Romney and working well today in Mass. Last night we noted that Romney said he will keep several parts of Obamacare if he is elected, such as pre-existing conditions and insurance for children up to 26. (By the by, Romney lied.)

12. Appointed first Latina to the Supreme Court.

13. Passed legislation to curb greenhouse gases and improve the environment.

14. He passed significant increases in funding and scholarships, making college more accessible to students.

15. President Obama signed the START nuclear disarmament treaty with Russia.

I could go on and on, but you can find these things out for yourself on the internet.

Obama loves this country and the people in it. His actions speak loudly for where his thoughts are. It is not realistic to expect he will do everything as quickly as we would like or even do everything we want him to do.

You don't need to be a lightworker to know who was speaking from his heart last night, and who was performing a dog and pony show. Listen to your heart and you will know the truth. And don't believe everything you hear just because someone said, "trust me". Demand details and facts. And do your own fact-checking. It's illuminating.

lying labor skates, lying racketeers of business, lying newspapers, lying ads.

The people laugh even at lies that cost them toil and bloody exactions.

For a long time the people may laugh, until a day when the laughter

changes key and tone and has something it didn’t have.

Then there is a scurrying and a noise of discussion and an asking of the question

what it is the people want.

Then there is the pretense of giving the people what they want, with jokers, trick

clauses, delays and continuances, with lawyers and fixers, playboys and ventriloquists,

bigtime promises.

And finally:

The people yes

The people will live on.

The learning and blundering people will live on.

They will be tricked and sold and again sold

And go back to the nourishing earth for rootholds.

The people so peculiar in renewal and comeback,

You can’t laugh off their capacity to take it.

Man is a long time coming.

Man will yet win.

Brother may yet line up with brother.

In the darkness with a great bundle of grief,

The people march.

In the night, and overhead a shovel of stars for keeps, the people march:

“Where to? What next?”

Or maybe I’m just wishing to hear – from politicians and corporate leaders alike these days – an acknowledgement, long overdue, of the valor, the grace, and the beauty of the people.

Clear Difference?

One of them represents the 99%. One of them the 1% One has "Forward" as their slogan, the other "Believe in America". Forward to where? How is "America" defined?

Is it the 100%, 99%, 47%-53%" or the 1%? Who do these two really represent?

If you notice that this election, very few people announce their decisions with bumper stickers or signs on their lawns. People seem to want to stay detached from making a choice. Both camps have their usual armies of supporters at rallies and their respective voices megaphoned on FOX, MSNBC and their affiliate pundits. The usual numbers of the apathetic who trumpet it doesn't matter...

Lightworkers have been presented a scanty amount of ambiguous information regarding the President as a Mighty Light Being, yet to awaken, many religious folk see him as that nebulous "anti-christ" destined to lead all astray except for their "saved" lot. " Romney will deliver us from the cluthces of this "evil" man" might be some thoughts..

"Conspriracy Theorists" view one or the other in the same vein as the others mentined above, with a twist of Big Brother's master plan, the Illuminati, Agenda 21,and oh so much more.. but yet its all somehow moving on towards election day without any rioting of any sort.... unlike their suffering brothers over the big pond.

There is a chess game alright. Between O'Bama and Romney? Maybe between the US and the rest of the world? Perhaps between planet Earth and "aliens" or maybe its all contained in individuals heads and hearts? What are the candidates looking at for the long run?
