Lucid dreams #4

My uncle and I are driving out of some city, going to meet the rest of our family at the ranch in Texas. I start to point out more than ordinary things- random people standing around, groups of people running and eventually a bloodied man running in front of our truck. I immediately thought - dude... Zombie apocalypse.. And relayed this to DT. He agreed and we started to pick up speed out of the city. After a minute or two outside the city we see a group of people yelling at zombies in a wall formation. We pull over and assess the situation: zombies on one side, less people on the other side. We get out of the truck and join the unbitten people. As soon as we get there everyone charges at each other, some of us have axes and boards. I pick up a thick stick off the ground and hit the first zombie on his per cheek, and smashed his head with my foot when he hit the ground. After a few kills I lose track of my uncle and find him at my back with two axes. I stab my now 4-5 inch stick in a zombies eye and Darrell tosses me an axe. I fumble with it for a second and bring it up in time to hit a zombie in his chest. We've won for now, and hop back in the truck. Darrell and I lock hands And I yell "you don't f* with the Sorrells boys!" .. I wake up and yell "f* yeah!" and realize I was sleeping... Disappointed.

My family and I, 8 of us are staying at a huge 30+ story casino with slots machines on every floor we go to except the bottom, blackjack tables on the ground floor and a mall in the alleyway for some reason. I am walking 10 feet behind my dad- DT is 10 feet behind me. We're walking down an elegant crosswalk about 3 stories up. I sense danger and telepathically tell my dad about the strange greyish metallic feeling. Dad gives the signal and we make for the first floor towards the balcony overlooking the dynamic placement of streets and bridges below. I parkor it off the escalators and around people in my way. I remember thinking about an old crush for some reason while I'm jumping to get to the rendezvous point at the balcony. She seems like she's worried about me and I feel sad that she isn't with me. I meet at the rendezvous point and see exactly what I was expecting. I thought to myself "they found me" as people start to run in fear, or stand in dumbfounded awe. Me, my uncle and my dad look up for a few seconds to watch 1000s of disks flying on there side so that you can see a metallic circle of silver. Some flew behind clouds some in front but all seemed to be in a formation about a mile radius surrounding the building going in circles. Next thing I remember, my dad, brother and uncle are in an underground parking lot, dad tosses me my ar and we run out to an alleyway. The dream ends here.

Lucid dreams

I'm flitting through alleyways, behind cars and trees. My mentality is in what I call assassin mode. I think this is a reflection of one of my past lives, which makes sense because my family consists of warriors... My name literally means 'warrior', also my middle name 'Adler' means "eagle hunter," if that's any consolation. Anyway I'm exploring the dream with the mindset of trying to find something 'evil' to kill. And as I explore I see a man holding a knife to my dads back- which makes no sense at all.. Because my dad trained to be a SEAL, and would have killed this guy with this his own knife. I'm pissed and forget my instinct to jump him in an ambush. I walk out from behind the car and stand in plain view so the man can see me. He spots me and walks in my direction... My "dad" evaporates into mist... I shrug the idea of my dad being a hologram off and am even more angry the guy lured me. I sense something oddly familiar behind me and look to my right to see many smoky figures standing around and some sitting on cars and SUVs. I turn back to see the man running full sprint at me, now 10 feet away. I pull my knife; a 10 inch bladed Bowie knife, and deflected his first slash with my left arm. Instinct kicks in as I'm dodging and returning attacks. After about a minute or two of fighting I finally get a good stab under the ribs, my knife halfway in his chest. The shadow people quickly pull the man back and I am left with a few cuts on my left arm, not too deep because most of the blade caught the sleeve of my hoodie. I awake feeling the many cuts in my left arm for a few minutes. I think these shadow people are mostly associated with the lower astral planes, usually nightmares. and they felt familiar, like I've known them for a very, very long time, ancient even. what does that mean?

I awake to my grandmother asking me to get up for school around 7 am. I try to acknowledge her but quickly fall back asleep in hope of a few minutes more of rest. I am now asleep, but I am now having a lucid dream and believe it is physical experience until I realize I am dreaming a few seconds later. I concentrate on the dream as I am now aware I am dreaming. I get up and walk to the kitchen where my grandparents are fixing me breakfast. I shoot them some loving energy and walk out the door. Now that I'm outside I feel free, anxious to create and explore the ranch while I'm dreaming. I move a few yards off the porch and face the southern sky, my grandparents house behind me on my right and my family's house to my left. I notice the morning sky and see cosmic clouds, infinite stars and a beautiful orange and magenta sky. I have mixed feelings of giddiness and joy, love and wonder. I begin to notice myself connecting to the landscape, attempting to alter it. I reach out with my hand and change the view with simultaneous visions of a wondrous desert dark and void save for mountains off to the far left. The desert seems endless but beautiful all the same. I then change the landscape to rolling hills of green with an amazing sky of deep morning blue and a full grown tree on the nearest hill. I then began to turn on my heals turning right and changing the landscape in a pan or sliding camera view. I laugh and remember I am dreaming, and so I remember I can do anything... I happily will myself off the ground and laugh as I feel weightless. I look to my left and see grandpa with a sort of lantern made of a moon like glowing subtance for a head. I laugh and jump over the fence now facing north. I have fun with jumping around a little and notice a very unexpected sight. I look up facing south again and see 3 enormous vines descending from a very distant galaxy.

So, it’s the end already, the work is done and it’s all over but the shouting! That’s what you said last week now what in heaven’s name is the hold up. NOTHING! Let’s just cut the crap and let me splain things to you if your man enough to take it. IT AINT NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE! Now there that’s as crystal clear as if Mark Twain himself had said it. Besides I said “it’s close enough to smell.” The hard cold fact is nothing is wrong and everything is rolling smoothly as this mechanical process is working pedal to the metal but some documents handed down through the generations need to be handled carefully which slows things a bit. Also, returning the “Republic” to it’s glory days is a very delicate process needs to be massaged into place. We are on a week to week schedule for final completion. Like preparing a gourmet meal the process at times is meticulous but oh is the wait so worth it. “A Promise is a Promise” the masses are next and very, very soon!

May 25, 2013 ( SAN ANTONIO) -- San Antonio firefighters have pulled people from submerged cars and rescued passengers whose bus was swept away in flood waters from torrential rains.

Officials say numerous roads have been closed because of flash flooding.

The city's transit agency says firefighters on a boat were able to rescue the three bus passengers and driver early Saturday. A spokeswoman says nobody was injured.

NOCTILUCENT CLOUD SEASON BEGINS

Over the weekend, sky watchers in northern Europe and Canada spotted electric-blue tendrils of light reaching out of the western sky at sunset. This signals the beginning of the 2013 season for noctilucent clouds (NLCs). Photographer Silvar Mehik sends this picture from the island of Saaremaa in Estonia:

 

 

NLCs are Earth's highest clouds. In the upper atmosphere, 80+ km high, tiny ice crystals nucleate around meteoroids and other aerosols. When the crystals catch the rays of the setting sun, they glow electric blue. For reasons that are not fully understood, these highest and coldest of clouds form during the warmest months on the ground--late spring and summer.

New, in-depth research on glacier mass losses and their contribution to the rising sea level between 2003 and 2009 shows that the world's mountain glaciers have contributed just as much melt water to rising sea level as the the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets.

Much of Alaska glacier ice is located near the coast, making it more susceptible to climate fluctuations, according to the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska at Fairbanks.

The merger is occurring 11 billion light-years away, meaning that astronomers are seeing the two colliding galaxies as they were about 3 billion years after the Big Bang that created the universe. During this epoch, "red and dead" elliptical galaxies full of old stars were common.

Fu and his colleagues initially thought the two merging galaxies were a singleton, dubbed HXMM01, when they saw it with the European Space Agency's infrared Herschel space telescope.

But follow-up observations with a variety of other instruments, both on the ground and in space, revealed that HXMM01 is actually two galaxies on a collision course, separated by about 62,000 light-years at the moment.

Abrams started off the questioning asking if they had seen anything strange that makes them believe in aliens. Although the astronauts said they hadn’t, one of the stars of the movie, Alice Eve, says she was not convinced.

  A letter from Carl Jung to an editor at the New Republic newspaper in Washington D.C. about UFOs has recently gone up for auction at the Swann Auction Galleries. The letter, dated December 12, 1957, appears to be in response to a request to write an article about UFOs and Jung’s upcoming book on the topic.

  Jung demonstrated a great interest in UFOs in his career, primarily the psychological aspects of the modern mythology, but as he expresses in the letter, to his chagrin, “one almost must regret that the Ufos seem to be real after all.”
