THE remnants of tropical cyclone Rusty are causing major flooding in the Pilbara catchment areas and river levels are expected to remain high for days.
Around 4pm WST, two hours after all cyclone warnings were cancelled, emergency services said minor to major flood levels had been reached in the Nullagine, Oakover, Coongan and De Grey rivers, with further peaks possible in coming days.

Intern Rights Protests Coming To Lincoln Center?
Organizers at Intern Labor Rights, a division of the Occupy Wall Street movement, have announced their plan to descend on the hordes of well-dressed, constantly photographed models,Discount Vibram Five Fingers celebs, and industry folk during the height of New York Fashion Week.
The issue came into the limelight when former Hearst intern Diana Wang began a class-action lawsuit based on her time as an unpaid intern at Harper's Bazaar. Though Wang herself isn't involved in this new initiative, she certainly paved the way for addressing an issue the industry generally likes to keep quiet. One of the protest organizers told Buzzfeed that interest is spiking higher and higher each day, and though he doesn't expect to see hundreds, he does think there will be "a significant presence" outside shows this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Former Fox Searchlight intern Eric Glatt, who's also in the midst of a lawsuit, explained the theory behind the outrage: "Whenever it's at a for-profit institution the worker legally needs to be compensated. The fashion industry is a for-profit industry — it's not like they're working not-for-profit arts organizations. They're making billions of dollars and the fact that they're asking their students to donate their labor to these businesses is really outrageous."

On the Earth side of the Sun, act five region 1682, developed a Beta-gamma magnetic configuration and now harbors energy for M-class solar flares. Connecting with Your Emotions
Allow yourself to connect with your emotional side, for in doing so you will connect with your heart routinely. Emotions are beautiful, but too many people have been programmed to think emotions and feelings don’t matter and that only cold, logical or egotistical ways of Living can be employed. Our emotions are gateways to our heart chakra, and our heart chakra is among the strongest of gateways to the higher realms we can open up for ourselves.
As such, getting in touch with your emotions is important to opening the heart chakra. Some of you may find an opening of the third eye acting in accordance with that of the heart chakra, and you will begin to find metaphysical perspectives and ideas emanating from within, some of which you may gravitate toward and really explore. Getting in touch with your emotional side is one of the biggest ways you can begin your inner-exploration and of course, beginning that exploration is important to realizing your personal infinity.

The cause is a medium-speed (~500 km/s) stream of solar wind that hit Earth's magnetic field during the late hours of Feb. 28th. Reports of auroras are coming in from around tthe Arctic Circle, like these photographed by Frank Olsen of over Norway:
"The weather here in Vesterålen has been terrible for more than a week," says Olsen. "I was so glad the clouds parted so we could catch the auroras at 1:30 am local time on March the 1st."

Good News at Last on Drought
Heavy rainfall in the Southeast and a pair of heavy snow events in the Plains have made dents in the long-term drought in each region.
According to the latest Drought Monitor report released Thursday from the National Drought Mitigation Center, "extreme" drought, the second worst category of drought in this weekly analysis, has been erased from the Southeast region (from Alabama and Florida to Virginia) for the first time since August 2010.

The David Icke Newsletter Goes Out On Sunday
I came across a video on YouTube this week of a Rod Stewart song called Faith of the Heart. The words brought back lots of memories, not all of them nice, and for obvious reasons, too, given my life.
But it was so appropriate and timely that I should hear it again now on the brink of what are going to be massive breakthroughs in communicating the information that I have spent nearly a quarter of a century putting together.
The song says: 'It's been a long road getting from there to here ... It's been a long time.'
It has certainly been a long road back from the brink of apparent self-destruction in 1991 when I first blinked into the spotlight of mass ridicule at a time when because of an enormous transformation in my sense of reality I didn't know what planet I was on, let alone what was happening.
It was at this point that I accepted an invitation to appear on a prime-time chat show watched by a considerable percentage of the British public – even more so given the revelations about my 'insanity' that people were reading in the papers.

Sometimes, I swear I can be so slow on the uptake of, what now seems obvious information!! I was sitting down between appointments yesterday re-reading my blog, I will do that when I feel like I missed something or don’t fully understand something. Granted, my sharings are done in my personality, but rarely do I actually write them. I am learning too thru it all.
When I got to the image of the earth and the continued way I am “seeing” you now, how on earth am I surprised that your heart center looks like a sky view of earth?? We are, after all, creating the New Earth… just dah!!! In that realization it was like a liquid warm ran thru me. Even the sudden, and to me, drastic way I now connect with you, actually makes sense.
For the last 10 years of reading/connections, I have done it fully thru the pineal gland, an expanded view of the field of Light that is within all of us. This allowed us to connect even beyond the heart creation to look at the extension of life we all move in and out of every day. That extended part of our story was crucial to get us to Here.

In many parts of the world the old energies are collapsing, and with it will come the opportunity for them to be replaced by the new paradigm. It is as you might say, waiting in the wings as much work has been carried out to ensure it is ready to take over. It brings with it a degree of uncertainty as for a time all you will see are the signs of disintegration. The Euro is very unstable and some other currencies are not holding up very well. It all points to a great change that will also force the banks to revise their methods of trading. They have seen it coming but try to ward off the inevitable, but it will be to no avail. There is already agreement amongst many countries to the proposed changes, and it is simply a matter of waiting for the right moment to go ahead.

Big Story Weather from February 27: The snow started to finally wind down in the Northeast as the low began to push outwards towards sea. High pressure sliding into the country has started its cool down effects with some places running 10-15 degrees below normal.

What makes nature so innocent and appealing? I thought about this for a while and it seems to me we love it so because nature has no agenda! It is pure and as real as you see it. We have been had from every angle in our lives and it is exhausting, but when we are in nature it is so life-giving because it is not trying to sell you something, or sway you, or lie to you. What you see is what you get. How refreshing is that? It is why we love nature, it reboots us and re-energizes us. It is our life line to sanity and yet sadly, we continue to destroy it. We need to understand that without nature we do not exist. Humans seem to have drifted so far astray it seems overwhelming when we think about all of the things we need to fix that we have destroyed in one way or the other. Where do we even begin? The majority of destruction taking place is being done by large corporations such as gas companies, lumber companies, fracking companies, farming you name it. So how can we help save the earth you say?

Rusty "Rains Out" Over West of Australia

Rusty, the former tropical cyclone, was fading fast as it spread tropical rain southward over Western Australian.
In its wake, the storm left some tree and structural damage, as well as swollen rivers.

These two nearly identical spacecraft launched in August 2012 and with only six months in operation, they may well be rewriting science textbooks. The probes study the Van Allen belts, gigantic radiation belts surrounding Earth, which can swell dramatically in response to incoming energy from the sun, engulfing satellites and spacecraft and creating potential threats to manned space flight.
James Van Allen discovered the radiation belts during the 1958 launch of the first successful U.S. satellite. Subsequent missions have observed parts of the belts, but what causes the dynamic variation in the region has remained something of a mystery.

Human life is not an anomaly reserved to one planet. The universe is literally teeming with life — everywhere and anywhere it can grow.

Volcanic activity worldwide 28 Feb 2013: Stromboli, Etna
Stromboli (Eolian Islands, Italy): (27 Feb) A new lava flow has started to descend the Sciara del Fuoco. Judging from webcam images, it has probably reached about 500 m elevation, but seems to be relatively well alimented.
Etna (Sicily, Italy): The 6th paroxysm from the New SE crater occurred this morning. It was characterized by very strong explosions and tall lava fountains 3-600m tall from vents on the fissure cutting through the New SE crater. Lava flows from the eruption traveled south and SE from the cone onto Belvedere, where they destroyed the seismic station and telecamera, and into Valle del Bove.
