Florida isn't so much a state

Florida isn't so much a state as it is a sponge with alligators. The entire state is pockmarked with springs and fresh water artesian well water is everywhere available. These water sources cause sinkholes to form, especially in places where the farmers get the water they need for our wonderful morning orange juice and our lovely strawberries for our corn flakes. And it is also why people's houses sometimes disappear after the farmers water their crops.
