No eruptive activity at the surface has occurred so far, and the official alert level of the volcano remains at "Yellow", but with "Special Attention" (corresponding to "orange" in our classification).
Until 09:56 local time (12:56 GMT) on 22 Jan, seismic activity had remained at low levels, both in occurrence of earthquakes, the energy released and the signal intensity of tremor associated with fluid movements inside the volcano. Then, at that time, there was a significant long-period (LP) earthquake and 3 hours later, shallow lower amplitude events started to occur.

An Arctic blast has gripped the Midwest and Northeast, with a perilous combination of bitterly cold air and gusty winds making it feel like winds 50 degrees below zero and enough snow and ice to cancel schools and make driving treacherous.
In Washington, D.C., it was 15 degrees at Reagan National Airport on Wednesday morning, the coldest it has been there in nearly four years, since March 3, 2009.

They can be to any number of things such as a desired outcome in a given situation, relationships, finances, and so on ad infinitum. What is important to realize here though, is that these ‘surface level’ attachments usually stem from deeper insecurities and beliefs that we may or may not be aware of. Also known as ‘schemas’, these are usually subconscious patterns that are often picked up during our formative years, or even in past lives, and exert an undue influence on our present choices, thoughts and actions. Of course, I shouldn’t feel surprised that my “faery-twin” friend Tania Marie just posted about her massive jolt of creative inspiration, as we always tend to mirror each others’ process. Like Tania, I’ve felt some big nudges lately to up the creativity quotient. After over a year and a half of not being able to practice yoga due to a sacrum injury, as of last week I can suddenly “do” yoga every single day.

UPDATE: TONNES of freshwater fish are being left to die as shallow lakes across Victoria dry out in the summer heat.
Lake Boort, 1km south of Boort, is coated in a stinking layer of dead and dying carp, but neither the Department of Primary Industries, the Department of Sustainability and Environment nor the North Central Catchment Management Authority was prepared to take responsibility for preventing the fish deaths.

Here I will get to play a wonderful game as a Spirit of Infinite Design expressing myself in a linear fashion."
And off you went. You traveled around and you told all your entire Soul group about, and the idea grew and grew and Grew! Pretty soon everyone thought that this would be a very cool way to experience energy! The omniverse is filled with beings playing such games. Placing the Infinite into a linear time frame was a big challenge. In order to do it, you had to come up with some unique visions and designs. But being such a magical creator limiting the perceptions of an Infinite Being for a lifetime or two was as easy as parting the Red Sea.

HEAVY rainfall is expected to hit much of the Queensland coast, with the Bureau of Meteorology warning that six-hour rainfalls of up to 200mm are possible.

The second big story again was the cold Arctic air that still covers a good portion of the Northern Plains. There was also some rain showers along the West Coast with a warm front near the coast of California.
Weather Outlook for January 24: High pressure over the Great Lakes will bring a nice day to the region and this will extend southward and into the Northeast, while the next clipper system moves into the Northern Plains this afternoon bringing snow to the Dakotas and Minnesota. High pressure over the Rockies will make for another nice day out in the West. While the warm front slides a bit further south today into Southern California bringing showers to the region. Below is the weather for a few select cities.

Large hail, damaging winds and heavy rainfall are predicted for a huge stretch of central WA this afternoon as ex-tropical cyclone Peta plays havoc with WA's weather.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued a storm warning about 12.25pm advising people in the Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, North Interior and South Interior, in an area bound by Laverton, Wiluna, Mt Augustus, Parburdoo, Telfer, Balgo Hills and Warburton, to brace for severe thunderstorms developing this afternoon.
