January 5, 2013 – AUSTRALIA - Australia’s southern island of Tasmania has experienced its hottest day since records began, with the capital Hobart sweltering at 41.8 Celsius (107.2 Fahrenheit) on Friday. The Bureau of Meteorology said the temperature in Tasmania, where records have been kept since the early 1880s, beat the previous high of 40.8 Celsius set in January 1976. “There are only three or four (days) on record over 40 degrees so it’s quite rare,” said Melbourne-based Bureau of Meteorology duty forecaster Murray Keable.

(LiveScience) Illinois Senator Mark Kirk has wrestled with lots of devilish political issues during his 28-year political career, but after suffering a stroke one year ago, he claims he had a very different experience: an encounter with angels.
The Republican senator was recovering from a massive stroke in the right side of his brain at Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit in Chicago when Kirk said three angels visited him, the Chicago area’s Daily Herald reported.
As a Catholic, as an Italian, and as a Physician, I have a certain predisposition toward guilt. It worked on me as a child to get me to behave within certain expectations. Physicians in training are taught to put the needs of the patient before their own as a matter of course. Those that dare to question this are mocked as being 'unprofessional'. The last two weeks have landed me into a funk that was guilt-filled and very distressing.
As an anesthesiologist who is working full-time, my guilt-meter is off the charts when I or my children are not well. I spent a week sicker than a dog at work, because unless I am in the hospital as a patient, I better show up or there shall be cases cancelling with my absence. I feel guilty because as a health-care worker I am 'selling' health and clearly by being at work when I am ill I am at conflict with my 'product'. I spent one week, three weeks ago, caring for the son with the sinusitis that has not cleared since October. I was doing asthma nebulizer treatments around the clock, and generally exhausted from making sure that everything was going right for him while I kept the household running.
Then the Holidays came up, and it was my turn to host the family gathering. My house was a mess, total CHAOS (Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome) and I spent the first four days of vacation cleaning like mad around the house. Right up to company's arrival, the children and I were vacuuming and cleaning some more. Everything went beautifully. I wanted my sister who has been taking care of grandmother's new long-term care planning to have a break and relax.
Commentary from HJ: This is a highly thought provoking message from Cosmic Awareness (lets be honest — when aren’t they?). I think many will be able to take some wisdom that will be of great benefit in their lives from this message. Many wonder what happens when we undergo physical death and Awareness sheds much light and guidance on this experience. We are offered a ’10,000 ft. view’ of the process of life review and why it is important for us at a soul level.
We are constantly told by the great spiritual masters that being of service is one of the highest paths we can take in this lifetime. When we offer our time, energy and wisdom in the service of others, we experience immense spiritual growth while simultaneously helping others to grow, heal and learn. It is a true win-win situation in every sense of the word. In fact, it is the single most important factor in the ongoing advancement and growth of humanity.

Over the years, I have developed a personal toolbox of various methods that work particularly well for clearing unwanted energies and bringing my mind/body/spirit back into alignment. This is a must for any sensitive individuals. Many times when we feel ‘off’ it is not from our own energies, but ones we have picked up from other people throughout the day. It is important to regularly clear yourself of this baggage for it can definitely affect you noticeably. Furthermore, as our vibration is lowered, we automatically become more vulnerable to lower vibrations, energies and spirits. This is something to be aware of and to address, but not to worry about. Worry is not a beneficial emotion and will only lower your vibration, thereby making this all more difficult.
I'm feeling weird today. I think that I knew something was up yesterday, that there was a lot more energy. I was hesitant to take a personal day so soon into the year... but I did and went shopping with my sister. We got frozen yogurt and it was delicious. I think that's why I didn't notice anything yesterday. I was having fun and my vibrations were higher. Today, though, I am sitting in my cubicle and my heart feels like it's a ballon in my chest. It makes it uncomfortable and a little hard to breathe, but it's not something that I'm afraid of. Synchronistically, a little after feeling this I saw the Earth Allies' message about the energy of today. Just before this feeling in my chest, I was insanely aware of myself. I was sitting in my chair, I mean really sitting there and just taking everything in. I can feel it coursing through me and it is intense. It's overwhelming. It's exhilarating. This is the start of something new. New ideas. New hopes. New dreams. New reality. It's coming, my dear and you can't stop it. You can't hurry it either. YOu must be patient. Oh but it's so hard to be patient when I'm hearing that our New Age will be wonderful beyond comprehension. I just want to comprehend it!
