Pull Back The Curtain And What Do YOU See?

RJ Spina, Contributor
Waking Times

Society, respective of where you reside, will layout what is accepted as right and wrong but it often never takes into account what the Soul desires to experience and with whom it has agreed to share those experiences with.

While incarnate, some Beings have chosen to experience being a victim, predator or even a hero. Anything and everything is fair game but some will continue to play their role when disincarnate until they come to the realization they no longer have a body. Some realize immediately, some don’t. There is no ticking clock and everyone has as much ‘time’ as they need. Every role we choose to play while incarnate is just that, a temporary role. No different than playing the role of Mystic, Healer, Bodhisattva or Consciousness Explorer. Each role requires a different set of skills and level of awareness but It just depends on how you choose to experience this specific aspect of your Self, one of the many pieces of the bigger you that makes up some of your immense HigherSelf.incarnate is just that, a temporary role. No different than playing the ro...

Balancing the Throat Chakra

The Throat Chakra inspires creative communication…

ASSOCIATED ISSUES; lies, rebellion, unable to speak truth, communication, relationship/trust problems, learning to say no, speaking out, and worry or grief.

ASSOCIATED BODY PARTS;  throat, neck, arms, hands, thyroid gland, and cervical plexus.

The Throat chakra is the center of creative expression.

When expressing truth and desired choices in our lives it is here we find out all decisions have consequences. This is the chakra of purification, allowing energy to transform into physical manifestations.

Speaking our truth is essential for maintaining success within our lives. That being said we also need to try and avoid negative views about others. Expressing anger towards another will likely effect our own energy, causing imbalance within ourselves.

Changing the World by Changing Our Perspective

Written by Wes Annac, The Culture of Awareness

It becomes clear to anyone who looks around that we live in a broken world.

Things happen every day that are appalling to say the least, and a lot of them are hidden from public view. Corporations and shadow governments run this world secretly (yet out in the open), and most common people are too internally divided to unite and address the problems that run rampant.

Depending on how we see the world, it could be the worst place to live or the best. This could be the most desolate, corrupt and broken planet in our mostly unexplored cosmos if we let it, and those of you who are alarmed or even depressed because of our world’s current condition are, in a way, right to feel the way you do.

A lot of things need to change. This has become increasingly clear, and every day, more and more people are awakening to the corruption of the elitist forces who strive to rule over us and the necessity to come together and...

Using Meditation to Help You Overcome Addiction

By Robert L. Rupp

Guest Writer for Wake Up World

Mindfulness and Addiction

Addictions generally are the side-effect of a grasping mind. When we try to cling to things beyond our reach or moments in our lives that have passed, it can sometimes lead to negative emotions or trigger unhealthy feelings. Generally, it is when an individual feels excessive helplessness toward situations in his or her life, addictions and other coping mechanisms can form to help deal with the emotions.

Unfortunately, in many cases it can be hard to truly see what is causing the emotions and what we are grasping for or reaching toward. This is where mindfulness meditation can begin to help with the discovery of the root causes for most addictions.

Meditation and practicing mindfulness can help us learn a greater capacity to see further into ourselves to explore our emotions and thoughts. Life can be full of many confusing and conflicting emotions. On occasion, an individuals core values can be violated by the actions or words of another which can also lead to addiction and the need to cope.

Who are You? and How to Be That

By Open

Contributing Writer for Wake Up World

It strikes me that the biggest problem humanity faces right now is a case of mistaken identity. People mistake themselves for something they are not; and this generates all manner of false lifestyles and suffering. And even when a person discovers they are not the ego, there frequently follows all kinds of attachment and identification with qualities of the soul: like “I am love” for example. So what about ditching all kinds of identity completely? What about surrendering into the infinite vulnerability of the moment – into infinite potential.

Refreshing

Awareness that is shared blooms into realized consciousness.  It is the voice of the universe speaking directly to our hearts, where its seed rests and remains.

Awareness is like water upon the soil of our soul that refreshes when the dry wasteland of the mind parches us. It is the point within, where the differences can dissolve into unity.

Namaste.

12 Ways to Rid the Planet of GMOs and Monsanto’s Roundup

No GMO-1

Ronnie Cummins, EcoWatch
Waking Times

It is now blatantly obvious that genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are nothing more than patented Pesticide Delivery Systems (PDS) designed to increase sales of poisonous agrochemicals such as Roundup, glufosinate, Bt, 2,4 D and neonicotinoids. To claim that GMOs are perfectly safe is equivalent to saying that pesticides, herbicides and fungicides—systemically laced at ever-higher levels into GMO-tainted human food and animal feed—are perfectly safe. And to make matters worse, hundreds of millions of pounds of Monsanto’s Roundup, the most widely used herbicide in the world, are now routinely sprayed on 160 different crops, just before harvest, including wheat, potatoes, oats, canola, flax, peas and dried beans. In other words, just about every non-organic item in your supermarket, or every item on your restaurant menu (bread, potatoes, meat, milk) is now tainted with Roundup.

Why Radiation Therapy Causes More Harm Than Good

radiation therapy
Dave Mihalovic, Prevent Disease
Waking Times

Only in the world of medical treatment do we find concepts such as poison heals cancer and radiation cures it. Any doctor with a reasonable understanding of cellular pathology will agree that not only does ionizing radiation cause secondary cancers, but the disease promoting effects can be absolutely devastating in the long-term well after treatment. In fact, more patients are dying of radiation-induced secondary cancers, which oncologists are often misdiagnosing as the primary cancer spreading.

Studies Show Low Self-Esteem & Materialism Go Hand in Hand

Researchers have found that low self-esteem and materialism are not just a correlation, but also a causal relationship where low self esteem increases materialism, and materialism can also create low self-esteem. They also found that as self esteem increases, materialism decreases. The study primarily focused on how this relationship affects children and adolescents. Lan Nguyen Chaplin (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign) and Deborah Roedder John (University of Minnesota) found that even a simple gesture to raise self-esteem dramatically decreased materialism, which provides a way to cope with insecurity.

“By the time children reach early adolescence, and experience a decline in self-esteem, the stage is set for the use of material possessions as a coping strategy for feelings of low self-worth,” they write in the study, which appeared in the Journal of Consumer Research.

Sailing the Sea of Change

Ida Lawrence, Contributor
Waking Times

You might be saying, “I am a spiritual person, not an activist. My spiritual solution tells me to work on raising my energy and expanding consciousness, and not concern myself the horrors of this world.”

Or you might be saying, “I cannot intentionally look away from suffering that I could possibly ease; suffering that my heart has asked me to ease. I am a spiritual-minded person, but I must be an activist.”

And there we have it. While these two perspectives seem to be contradictory, I’m comfortable in saying that every individual who loves the Divine Spirit within, has an activist heart. As far as I’m concerned there are countless ways of being ‘activist’, from meditating in seclusion to going forth and giving it all. We do what we have an affinity for, or what calls us.

Daily Message ~ Monday January 12, 2015

We wish for you to stop and really ponder the importance of reconnecting with your innocence. Your innocence will be quite willing to come back into your awareness as long as it is assured it will be safe. Part of the reason for the focus being on self love and healthy boundaries for so long, has been to create the environment for your innocence to wish to resurface.

Why is your innocence important? Because it is the purest essence of your human self. It is the part of you that sees itself as divine and perfect without ego. It also sees the divinity in others. Your innocence just naturally accepts your beingness as being more than enough. Your innocence trusts, and trust is a vital aspect of the Divine Combination of surrender, faith, flow and trust. It is an essential element of enlightenment.

Also, your innocence is very in touch with your imagination, and your imagination is what flows you over the bridge into the spiritual realms. Your imagination is what helps you create, to experience, to have fun. Creation always puts you in alignment with Source (Creator).

If you have had trouble finding joy on your path of late, it is a sure sign that your innocence hasn’t been connected with in a long time. Make a play date with that inner child and nurture that relationship again. You have so much to offer each other. ~Archangel Gabriel

Make Joyful Noises: Day 132, Eb 2

MAKE JOYFUL NOISES   Many of our lessons have brought up heavy issues and although we will be returning to delve deeper into your past wounds, today we wish to celebrate and practice making joyful noises.

Are you ready? Try to release all inhibitions and begin to sing. Make up words as you go, they need not be in a language you know; they can be just silly utterances. Build your crescendo, play with the sounds. Ohm, if you choose. Shriek with de-light. Make silly faces and movements. Have fun and release yourself. Make body movements; get up and dance around the room or better yet, in nature. Let the playful child inside come out. Pay no attention to others who may watch you. If there are others around you, invite them to join you.

Make silly faces at each other. If you feel like laughing, laugh. If you feel like crying, cry. Allow any emotions to arise. There is no need to attempt to understand why you are feeling these emotions, simply let them arise.

Continue to dance and sing for as long as you choose. Then, drink plenty of pure water and relax. Quiet yourself and go within for about fifteen minutes, expressing feelings of gratitude for all those who have been of assistance to you, both on Earth and beyond. Again, allow any emotions to arise.

Once you have finished, arise and create a splendid day for yourself! Make this a part of your routine at least once a week and enjoy the freedom of releasing parts of you that are ready to be expressed.    Selamet!  Eb 2

Give Away Your Last Dollar- Transcending Poverty Consciousness

What would you do if all you had was five dollars to your name or in your wallet? What would you do if someone asked you for a portion of that five dollars or all of it? How would you feel releasing the only money that you have? Another question is, is it really all you have?

As a child I witnessed my family struggle with money, it always seemed that there was never enough. I remember a cold and grey morning in New Jersey where my parents were upset and my mother crying because our car had been repossessed. I never quite understood the lack, because we had food on our table and clothes on our back, however there always lingered a sense of scarcity in our home and in our hearts. Being that I saw my parents struggle with their relationship to money, I inherited the same sort of attitude as a young adult, and found myself struggling to pay bills or acquire a job that payed enough to support my lifestyle and endeavors. Over time, I realized that we all possess the inherent ability to manifest exactly what we need or want in life. It did not require struggle as I perceived it, but a shift in the way I think, speak, and relate to myself and the world. It also required trust and faith in something much larger than myself.

The Great Wondrousness

You may have thought that you are at the mercy of the world with all its laws and by-laws, its hustle-bustle, its manners, with so much for you to learn in the ways of the world.

I ask of you to make a new world based on its true destiny.

You may think that your life is destined and that you are at the world’s mercy. You may think that if you’re lucky, life is pretty good. If you’re not lucky, life is not so good.

No one is blind to the difficulties that can occur in life, nor are you, at the same time, to discount the great wondrousness that may also await you in life. The world may offer you many treasures that you don’t see, or, if you do see, you turn away from, for you hear not the call to adventure. You would like a new life, yet you hesitate about taking a new step. You may be too comfortable following the path most traveled.

Yet each day is new, and you are new in it. It is good to relax, yet relax does not mean that you and everything are to stay as they are. You cannot always set the pace of your life and the twists and turns of it. Every day has a new yield.

We can compare life to the seasons. We can compare life to the flavors of ice cream. We can compare you to the stars. Some of My children are like fixed stars who don’t want to go anywhere, and some of My children are like moving stars that want to make discoveries. Regardless of your proclivities, there will be times when you stay put, and there will be times when it seems you can hardly keep up with life.

The dropping of fear is not enough. It is a negative thing. It is good to drop it but not enough. Now you will have to bring love to your heart... and it can come only when fear is dropped.
