I don’t think heaven is some intangible, far-off place that we should focus so heavily on that we forget to enjoy our lives right now.

I think we can create heaven right here on earth, and I, like a lot of people, want to do everything I can to raise the collective vibration and make this world heavenly.

There are a few belief systems that resonate with me, and they all preach the idea that heaven can be found and/or created on earth.

Spiritualism, which I write about but don’t practice, endorses the idea that life is a journey filled with constant lessons. It also promotes the concept of consciousness living on after the body dies.

Most people who hear the term ‘spiritualism’ probably associate it with mediums and channeled messages that have to do with life after death, but there’s more to the religion than meets the eye.

How you see the world, process your interactions and the responses you produce, are all a product of a reality that you have created for yourself – reality is not given to you, it is made by you. The world you see around you right now is not a set construct, it's not a predefined experience for all humans to perceive in the same way and interact with similarly – the reality you see is a product of your own perceptions, how you've processed the world and the sense you made of it. Everybody makes sense of the world differently in billions of subtle ways, and we hope that these perceptions align with other people's, else a person can be perceived as mad! The world however is far stranger than we perceive, but our human senses are tuned to ignore the truth of this illusion.

You can drastically alter your perception of reality and therefore transform the way you interact and feel about the world, in turn creating such profound changes in your life that an entire consciousness shift can result. Outcomes of this transformation can be, finding lasting inner peace, calmness, serenity, realizing the important things in life, appreciating your existence, finding much love where it was previously invisible, and realising a new purpose.

A group of songbirds may have avoided a devastating storm by fleeing their US breeding grounds after detecting telltale infrasound waves.

Researchers noticed the behaviour after analysing trackers attached to the birds to study their migration patterns. They believe it is the first documented case of birds making detours to avoid destructive weather systems on the basis of infrasound.

The golden-winged warblers had just returned from South America to their breeding grounds in the mountains of Tennessee in 2013 when a massive storm was edging closer. Although the birds had just completed a migration of more than 2,500km, they still had the energy to evade the danger.

The storm, which spawned more than 80 tornadoes across the US and killed 35 people, was 900km away when the birds, apparently acting independently of one another, fled south, with one bird embarking on a 1,500km flight to Cuba before making the return trip once the storm had passed.

School or prison, depending on your chosen perspective. On the one hand, it is a hyperdimensional teaching system accelerating your rate of spiritual evolution by providing you with catalytic experiences in response to your thoughts, emotions, and spiritual composition.

On the other hand, many of these experiences manifest as predatory forces preying upon your weaknesses. Of course, the only way to prevent being manipulated by these forces is to discover, integrate, and transform your weaknesses into strengths, thereby indirectly accomplishing the higher purpose of the Matrix, which is to help you transcend it.
