Darkness, largely fed and accepted
I went to go into a channeling this morning, and found the connection was very shallow. Little purity of information was coming through and overall, the process felt much more mind-centered than heart-centered as it is intended to be.
Of course this has happened before, and any channeler who is well-practiced in their own right can usually recognize when their connection is just too shallow in that moment to proceed with the communication.
In my case; I try to find reasons why the connection could be shallow or why I’m just not receiving the fruitful, intricate impressions I’d otherwise joyfully receive. For this morning specifically, a few different reasons surface why the connection just isn’t as strong or pure as it usually is. One reason is my tiredness on this morning; depletion or lack of energy can lead to a lack of enthusiasm in the mind to purely interpret the impressions being received by the heart.

The "Brass Ring", Manifestation, and Lessons from Spirit
I tried on a brass ring that had been a gift from a religious mother. Things are currently strained between us, based on 3D religious constructs. However, the inscription is the important part, the part that reads "I will always love you". The ring, I believe, has the apperance (if not composition) of tarnished brass. It's been a few years. On my walk earlier today, I saw a homemade mix CD in the bushes with a similar sentiment."

I have been incredibly exhausted lately and unable to leave an unstable temporary housing arrangement. I've been feeling frustrated and pushed to my breaking point, unsure if the arrangments to leave in the future will work out at all. I didn't connect any of my experiences this morning to the post, until I started feeling uncontrollable urges to find any excuse to leave the house.
Before leaving I chose the shirt "If not now, when?" in a deep purple. I asked spirit to show me a sign that my family was with me by using that color. A purple hair tie on the sidewalk marked the exact route I had planned to take to my destination. On my return to the house, I decided to take a slightly different route. I saw painted on a dumpster in that color the words "the boys are back in town" with a beach ball, as if there would be a party. There were also numerous hearts, mixed in with my favorite shade of blue.

May 14, 2013 – PACIFIC - A deep 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck near the Northern Mariana Islands in the western Pacific on Tuesday, the US Geological Survey said, but no tsunami warning was issued. The earthquake was later downgraded to a 6.8 by the USGS. The quake hit 42 kilometers (26 miles) west of Agrihan and 395 kilometers north of the main island Saipan, but it was at a depth of 603 kilometers and seismologists said it was too deep to cause any impact. “Obviously people may get a small shake but there’s hardly any population around there,” Geoscience Australia seismologist David Jepson told AFP. “There’s definitely no tsunami and it was too deep and too far away from anywhere to have caused any damage.” The earthquake was preceded by a 5.1 magnitude foreshock. A self-governing commonwealth of the United States since 1976, the Northern Marianas consists of 15 islands, with more than 90 percent of the population of 54,000 living on Saipan. May 14, 2013 – ALASKA - Another volcano in Alaska is heating up, with seismic instruments signaling a possible eruption. The Alaska Volcano Observatory says tremors were detected Monday at Pavlof Volcano 1,000 km southwest of Anchorage. John Power, the US Geological Survey scientist in charge at the observatory, said satellite imagery shows the volcano is “very, very hot.” Pavlof is 60km from the community of Cold Bay. The volcano last erupted in 2007. It’s the second Alaska volcano to rumble this month. Cleveland Volcano, on an uninhabited island in the Aleutian Islands, experienced a low-level eruption in early May. Power said satellite imagery shows the volcano continues to discharge steam, gas and heat, although no ash clouds have been detected in the past week. Cleveland is not monitored with seismic instruments. –News 24

On the evening of May 14, 2013, the waxing crescent moon shines close to Castor and Pollux, the two brightest stars in the constellation Gemini the Twins. On the opposite side of the moon is even a brighter star, Procyon. By the way, an imaginary line drawn from Procyon and right in between the Gemini stars takes you to Polaris, the North Star. It’s a very long jump across the heavens but the imaginary line will take you there. Try it tonight!

The feminine element lies dormant in us all, eager to be retrieved from the archives of the world of imagery and myth. Basically, the feminine aspect encompasses the mystical, nurturing, healing aspect engendered through unconditional love and intuition. It is this aspect of our nature, which connects us to spiritual truths and allows us to choose wisely in any given moment. It is our protection, and we have all but had it, dare I say, deliberately educated out of us in a pre-meditated dumbing-down of mankind.
Historically, mankind has developed through various stages of matriarchal and patriarchal societal trends. The pendulum has swung through macro and micro cycles where one gender has played a particular role in cultural dominance and responsibility. These trends are observed through varying developmental stages of our evolution both personal and global as we wander through life and this apparent pattern. Myth portrays archetypal patterns of our multi-dimensional psyche. They are raw symbols of our essentially androgynous human nature.

Humanity’s progress towards awakening is proceeding apace, and that is because you have reached the point in the process where you had previously decided to allow an enormous acceleration to occur in the rate at which you accumulate knowledge. Knowledge accumulation reduces ignorance and the limits that ignorance imposes. No longer are any subjects taboo. No longer is there any prohibition that prevents researchers from investigating the fields that interest and intrigue them. This freeing-up of orientation is accompanied by enthusiastic encouragement for those with new ideas that they wish to develop, leading to a mushrooming, expanding flow of information between diverse fields of knowledge, which further accelerates the accumulation of knowledge.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Another volcano in Alaska is heating up, with seismic instruments signaling a possible eruption, scientists said Monday.
Tremors were detected at Pavlof Volcano, 625 miles southwest of Anchorage, according to the Alaska Volcano Observatory. Satellite imagery showed the mountain was "very, very hot," said John Power, the U.S. Geological Survey scientist in charge at the observatory.

BELIZE CITY – A construction company has essentially destroyed one of Belize's largest Mayan pyramids with backhoes and bulldozers to extract crushed rock for a road-building project.
The head of the Belize Institute of Archaeology, Jaime Awe, said Monday that the destruction at the Nohmul complex in northern Belize was detected late last week. The ceremonial center dates back at least 2,300 years and is the most important site in northern Belize, near the border with Mexico.

Messier 5 is often overlooked in the northern hemisphere, because M13 and M22 will often get top-billing for globular clusters. But this one should not be missed - the large size, plentiful stars and bright core make for a great view in most any small telescope. And it is not all that hard to find; a hop, skip and a jump from Unukalhai (say what?) - a 2.6 magnitude star in Serpens - and you are there! Learn all about this fantastic sight in this week's Eyes on the Sky, which will be visible for several months to come too. For a printable star chart of this area, use Star Chart #11 here at Eyes on the Sky, and look for M5 in the upper left hand corner near Serpens Caput - the greek alpha symbol is the star Unukalhai. (NOTE: Saturn will not be on this star chart.)

The May 26 sunset will be extra special – Venus, Jupiter and Mercury will gather in the fading twilight to form a bright triangle only three degrees wide. Triple conjunctions of planets are fairly rare. The last time it happened was in May 2011, and it won’t happen again until October 2015. This triple is especially good because it involves the three brightest planets in May’s night sky: #1, Venus; #2, Jupiter; and #3, Mercury. The triangle will be visible even in places with heavy urban light pollution.

There are the online games, where I am constantly being asked to pay extra for more 'points' so they can 'move up'. The worst are the games of war that have labels such as G, Teen, and Mature...

Once upon a time in the middle of the Milky Way universe sat a big blue planet inside which lived a being of great love. The being was called Gaia and eons ago, Gaia had been given a great blessing. This was the ability to hold a space of love for life to grow and prosper.
For millions of years Gaia lovingly supported whatever was called forth from within her by the rhythm of love which flowed so purely from the creator’s heart. A multitude of mountains, trees, oceans and rivers soon sprang forth from within her as Gaia provided the elements and molecules of her own being to create a landscape that would in turn bring forth its own life.
In time creatures of the land, air and sea were also born in Gaia’s world, which was soon teaming with a myriad of colors and sounds. Time rolled by like an ocean whose waves continue to crash in a never ending fashion upon a shore. Cycles came and cycles went and then a new creature was born, a creature who like Gaia was born to feel the rhythm of love and all that the rhythm of love could do.
Gaia called the creature human-kind and gifted them not just with physical form but with the ability to create just as she’d been shown so very long ago. The human-kind grew and flourished, they went forth and multiplied and at times used their powers to create wisely. At other times they forgot the voice of the rhythm of love and in the busy-ness of their creation, could no longer feel it in their own hearts.
