Naturalnews, By: L.J. Devon, 01/23/2014

There's a dangerous practice going around regarding the manufacture of skin-lightening, "beauty care" cosmetics. Many skin-lightening products, anti-aging lotions, and acne creams contain unprecedented levels of mercury. This mercury is rubbed directly into the skin, where it is readily absorbed into the body. Mercury levels are reportedly so high in some skin products around the world that the FDA has issued a public statement warning consumers not to use skin creams, beauty products and lotions that might contain mercury.

Vitamin E helps protect against toxic effects of mercury

vitamin E

(NaturalNews) A combination of vitamin E and selenium products may help reduce the toxicity of mercury from eating fish, according to a recent study involving lab rats. Scientists say that, if results can be replicated in human beings, the findings could mean that pregnant women may be able to consumer larger amounts of fish, and their children benefit more from omega-3s.

Samhain Blessings

yourgypsysoul's picture

Well we’ve reached the end of October, and although this year may not have been what we expected in terms of Ascension and planetary changes, I hope we can all agree that we are not the same person we were at the beginning of the year, let alone the beginning of the season.  Samhain is the time of year when the veil is known to be the thinnest. That is, the world we live in and the spiritual world are at their closest of the year, with the boundaries between the two worlds lowered so that it is more easily accessible. We are also approaching an eclipse that will happen on November 3rd. Eclipses offer a great time for us to tune inward and be aware of ourselves completely. Eclipses, and especially Mercury retrograde, which we are experiencing until November 10th, can cause issues in communication, travel, electronics and more so it is essential for us to stay centered and grounded. They can also be viewed as a symbol of change and rebirth.

How appropriate then, that during this time of enhanced Spiritual connection that I received my first channeling from the faerie realm! And even more appropriate for the theme of rebirth is the message they gave!

At one glance, one may think that this image is photoshopped or it’s a composite because it’s simply impossible to see Milky Way galaxy at dusk. But what you’re really seeing here is a single exposure shot of a rare phenomenon, known as zodiacal light (a.k.a. “false dusk”), that I have captured during my recent trip to Mount Bromo in the Southern Hemisphere. Zodiacal light is best seen during spring and autumn, and I chose to visit Mt Bromo a few days after [the Southern Hemisphere's autumnal equinox] as I hoped to capture the zodiacal light along with the 3 planets, 3 volcanoes and a Milky Way galaxy.

Mercury Image

For the first time since 1975, a NASA spacecraft has captured fresh images of Mercury, shedding new light on a planet that's mostly been in the dark because of its close proximity to the sun.

Thanks to the MESSENGER spacecraft, the first to orbit Mercury, more than 80,000 photos have been taken of the planet's surface, according to an io9.com report. The article also states the craft intends to take another 80,000 photos or more before the mission ends.

Planetary trio – Mercury, Venus, Jupiter – still close at dusk May 27

Planetary trio featuring Mercury, Venus and Jupiter as they appear after sunset on May 27.

Did you see the three planets after sunset last night? Jupiter, Venus and Mercury formed a near-perfect equilateral triangle in the western twilight sky. Tonight – May 27, 2013 – the triangle is not so equal-sided, but you can still witness the planetary trio that pops out over the western horizon about 45 to 75 minutes after sunset. Don’t miss these three planets! You’ll be looking over the sunset point on the horizon at evening dusk. Be sure to find an unobstructed horizon in the direction of sunset, and if you have them, bring along binoculars to enhance the view of the three planets.

SUNSET PLANET SHOW

When the sun goes down tonight, step outside and look west. Venus, Jupiter and Mercury are converging to form a bright triangle in the sunset sky. The best evening to look is May 26th, when the planets will fit within a circle less than 3o wide. Petr Horálek photographed the convergence over the Czech republic on May 24th:
