Hundreds of thousands of laborers have poured into the streets in several cities across Indonesia to demand higher wages and better benefits.
"Workers unite! We can't be defeated!" chanted the workers who were from more than 700 companies in 80 industrial estates, the Associated Press reported. The demonstrations were held on Wednesday when over two million factory workers launched a 24-hour strike across the country.
