Really a LOT of media hype with this, however, always good to be prepared just in case !!

Hurricane Sandy -- currently a category 2, projected to go down to a category 1 over the next 24 hours.....

They (the forecasters and MSM) are calling the storm a "frankenstorm" due to the mix of two systems (tropical and low pressure arctic) -- plus a reference to the general time of Halloween coming up during approximate landfall time.

Strong damaging winds (80-100mph) are forecast -- also flooding rains, and heavy snow, and with high surf along the coast.

Current projected paths forecast to make a landfall between North Carolina, and Massachusetts...
