Beloved Ones,
I would like to have discourse on the quality of Love called dedication. This quality requires a commitment to a purpose that has been set forth as a goal to be accomplished and in order for this goal to be accomplished it requires the action and implementation of this quality of Love called dedication. Dedication to a project or a cause requires steadfastness and single mindedness of purpose in order to manifest the intended outcome of the goal into fruition. It requires repeated diligence and effort in order to create a tangible result as visualized and intended.
This quality of Love is also seen as a loving service that is given to another as a way to be of assistance in the most meaningful and practical manner. Many people throughout the World employ this loving act many, many times in their daily lives as they seek to be the best manifestation of themselves in service to their families, their friends, communities, employers and country. It requires this attribute of Love to continuously ensure that One can be relied upon in every circumstance of duty and service to others so that their needs are met.
This quality of Love is visible in every walk of life; in the Mothers who responsibly look after their children and make sure they eat healthy meals, are safe and protected at all times and in Fathers who share those duties as both parents try to balance the quality of dedication to their family, their homes and careers. Without this quality of Love, the needs of family remain unanswered and unfulfilled and a vital part of the blessedness of the family unit remains elusive.
To keep one’s job requires dedication and responsibility. To build a home requires dedication in following through on all the actions and skills necessary to bring it into completion. To knit a sweater requires this quality. To create a poem, to write a book, to make time to visit aging relatives, to continuously strive to ensure the well being of others, all of these activities require this quality called dedication. To volunteer One’s time and efforts to a charity organization, to take the time to write a letter of thanks, to answer One’s emails; all relies on this most important quality of Love.
In this Earthly plane of existence, the use and employment of the gifts of mind, body and spirit must be used in a tangible way in order to accomplish anything. It requires a plan, a template, a vision and the physical act of doing what is needed, a dedication to this plan in order to see it brought forth as tangible reality. All of the wondrous manifestations around you on every street corner throughout your World started out as a vision and then through the employment of this quality called dedication were brought into being.
It is important to honor each other for this expression of Love for without it, nothing would ever be done or accomplished. We look upon each of you and marvel at the great amounts of Love that are daily expressed in action without comprehending that it is a most wonderful act of Love and service.
I leave you now to ponder on these thoughts in loving dedication to your continued growth on your spiritual journey.
