As I walked down the street there was a man at the corner shouting “The Beginning is Coming ! The Beginning is Coming !”. I was a bit confused so I approached him and asked him what he was talking about. I said “don’t you mean the end is coming?”.
He laughed and said well yes…. and no. He explained that as prophesized by the Mayans and many others, that this year by December of 2012, it will be the end of life as we know it.
So I said, what? I should kiss my ass good-by and live like I had 8 months to live?
Again he started to laugh and said no. This is a time to celebrate, for everything as we’ve known for thousands of years, life as we know it, will be changing, not ending.
So I said, well I like my life. I have a good job, though many people don’t. I live comfortably and though I’m not rich, I do ok. I’m in OK health. I live in decent apartment.
He said well that’s wonderful. But let me ask you this. Are you satisfied with your Government? Are you happy with the economy and the price of power supplies, oil, gas, electric? Are you ready to see another World War? How do you think our children’s lives will be if nothing changes?
Well, no I’m not happy about all that I said. And you have a point about being concerned about the future for my children.
Have you seen any signs that things are changing? That the people, large groups of people, are not satisfied with our world and how it’s run by our Government, by our banks, by our schools, by our medical systems our religious organizations? Have you felt like deep inside you know things are about to radically change? Have you felt that there is an unrest from within and a sense of urgency, to change jobs, change relationships, change the same old non satisfying way of living our life?
I thought about it for a minute and said, well yea… I have felt kind of like that… for a while. And there have been a lot of protests world-wide. There seem to be a lot of people in management positions who have quit or resigned lately too. Now that you mention it, there have been a few arrests of Government officials. Even the Vatican seems to be shaking from scandals of corruption and crimes against its members.
Hmmmm he said. Well you’re not alone my friend. It’s not just you then. It’s the whole planet. People world-wide are not only ready for change they are finally stepping out of their comfort zones and demanding changes. People are taking real risks and even getting arrested to stand up and protest, peacefully, for the changes they want. Which is a radical change from the violent protests of the past.
Ok, so how is this… the end of things the way we know it? And why is it a time to celebrate?
Great questions my friend but first let me ask you a few more.
Ok.
If large groups of people individually and in groups from around the world are standing up and not asking, but demanding changes for the way we are treated and the way we live in every aspect of our lives, what do you think will happen? Have you ever, ever seen so much unrest on a global scale on our planet?
No.
What have those people who are in charge of the banks, the politicians, and so on done in response to all this unrest?
Well a lot of the police are acting out of violence against the protesters and forcing them to move.
Is it all of the police? Are there any seemingly out of place people among the ranks of our law enforcement?
Well most of the videos that I’ve seen of the police brutality are the white shirted commanders but I have even seen off duty police sitting and meditation with some of the protesters. You get the impression that some of them are really with us, the people that is.

Yes.
How has all this differed from that past? Do you think technology had anything to do with it? Is there more to it?
Well with cell phones and digital cameras a lot more is being captured on video and pictures and it seems like people now have more of a sense of conscious obligation and do what’s right. Even the police who are just following orders.
Well my friend I think you have captured some of the essence of what’s truly happening here. People are waking up. The consciousnesses of people are opening up and we are finally realizing that we are more than just lots of individuals with no power. We are more than that of our physical bodies. We are a unified group of individuals who together make up a collective of unimaginable strength and power. Where those who would suppress us and keep us asleep, impoverished, and dying from the pollutants and toxins they have, unbeknown to us, put upon us we will no longer accept it any more. How does it feel to finally stand up for your rights as a human being?
It feels good.
How does it feel to know that what we are now doing individually and collectively is making a real difference and will create sweeping changes for our planet?
It feels great!
Do you think things will ever be the same?
No, I guess not.
Well then don’t you think it’s time to start celebrating?
No, not yet my outspoken friend.
Why is that?
I think we still need to see more changes first.
And how do you see that happening?
I’m not quite sure but I guess we need some help with that.
And if by God some help were to show up and those people were taken out of power do you think it would then be time to celebrate?
Aaaa no.
Boy you’re a tough one. You seem like you really do want to see a lot of changes. Why not?
Because we still have the issues of all the poverty and financial problems of our world.
Yes my friend you are absolutely right.
So what then?
Well look at it this way. If the people who were responsible for the financial troubles of our world are removed, power is restored to the people and our true constitutional rights were restored, and the evil that created the war machines in all of our countries stopped, where do you suppose the money spent on wars and weapons would go to?
Well, back to the people I suppose.
That’s right, and how much money do you think will become available?
Trillions. Enough to end poverty, end hunger, and enrich the standard of living on every person on the planet.
Clap, Clap, Clap!!! I applaud you my friend. You’ve got it! You’ve got it!
So you understand now why we’re looking at the end of the world as we’ve know it and why it really a time to celebrate?
Yes, I think I do. People are waking up from their sleep so to speak and fighting for their God given rights to a joyful way of living. A way of living that is without wars, poverty, hunger, and a governing secret society that does everything in their power to control and suppress us.
Yes!!! My Friend Yes!!! So are you ready to celebrate?
Well I guess I do see that the changes are coming and it won’t be long now before our world and life in it will become the… well Paradise it was meant to be. So yes we have a lot of great things to look forward to now. Thank you for helping me to see the wonder of what’s coming! I guess I can see that a time for celebrations won’t be far off .
