Big Story Weather from April 29: A very busy day with strong and severe storms hitting Iowa and parts of the Southern Plains. The biggest story was from Eastern Iowa where very large hail fell.
Big Story Weather Discussion for April 30: High pressure along the East Coast will bring nice weather to the region. This high pressure will also begin to block the weather pattern which will become a major impact to the middle of the United States. Low pressure moving out of Oklahoma will bring showers to Texas and parts of Oklahoma. The stationary boundary along the Gulf Coast will bring showers and thunderstorms to the Gulf Coast from Louisiana to Florida. A tranquil day will be found over the West.
