Big Story Weather from April 3-4: The big story over the past couple of days has been the strong storm system that moved through the eastern half of the United States dumping heavy rainfall amounts along the Gulf Coast and also severe weather into Florida. The second story has been the below normal temps moving across the northern United States again associated with the cold high pressure center.
Big Story Weather Discussion for April 5: A low pressure system and the associated cold front will bring showers to portions of Maine and also thunderstorms to Southern Florida today. High pressure over the Great Lakes will bring another dry and cool day to the region. A cold front draping across the Northern Plains will bring rain and snow showers to the region. Onshore flow will bring showers from the West Coast eastward into the Rockies.
