Doubt is to Faith what Dark is to Light
Doubt has cohorts named Fear and Chaos.
Doubt likes to present itself in the format of "What if?" but offers no further peaceful flow of information. The "What if?" from Doubt stops you cold in your tracks, paralyzing you.
Faith is not an absolute state of mind. If you are accustomed to the dogmas of religion and turn to your holy scriptures for absolutes you may find yourself stuck in the mire of Doubt.
Faith is fluid. What you believe to be true today is a mere building block on what you will discover tomorrow as a truth. There are no holy scriptures to guide you and steer you. There is only Love. If this is upsetting to you, I offer you words that bring me comfort,
"Fear not for I bring you tidings of Great Joy!"
You have all the guidance required; in your heart. We call it love, our inner voice or knowing, that instinctual gut feeling that guides us towards or away from certain events.
Forget EVERYTHING else that doesn't fit into your being. Use your God-given tools of self discovery, reclaim your own power and guide your own life!
I cannot take you "there" because I don't know where "there" is for you. I cannot bring you "here" with me because I don't know your path. But I will always leave my light shining brightly should you find yourself momentarily lost.
When Doubt comes knocking you needen't answer the door. Like an annoying telemarketer, several unanswered attempts will send Doubt in search of a more willing participant. You don't have to play that game. I repeat, you don't have to play that game.
Faith is simply the ability to listen to your heart and trust where it leads, even when you don't know where it's taking you. As long as each step is taken in the purest love with intentions of self fulfillment that do no harm to others -you will find yourself in a calm, peaceful and beautiful place we sometimes refer to as Heaven on Earth. Doubt cannot exist here.
With the heavy garments of Doubt cast off you will feel lighter. You will discover that reaching out to help others makes you feel even more peaceful... in a state of bliss that has no end. Faith has no limits. You have no limits.
