In Colorado, voting began more than a week ago. Mail-in ballots began hitting mailboxes on October 13th, and early voting officially began. One of the initiatives that Coloradoans like myself can vote on is whether or not non-meat and dairy food products in Colorado should be labeled as containing genetically modified ingredients if any are present.
And this Coloradoan voted yes.
But because this Coloradoan voted yes doesn’t mean that anyone should have confidence in its passage. Here in Colorado, we have been bombarded, absolutely bombarded by a multi-million dollar anti-labeling ad campaign.
