I am honored to be standing here today running for class president. Many people have taken up this role over the years as class president to represent their class. I have heard of many cases of a class president not caring for their class or just want it to look good on their collage rezamay. I have heard about some cases with many class presidents they want to run because they know they will win because they are popular with people within their grade.
The thing that makes me thrive to attempt to take leadership in our class is the school spirit I have. I have seen many things happen within our grade when a good idea gets brought up for a fundraiser or anyother idea, it gets turned downed a lot by some people. If I am elected Class President, I will listen to your ideas and I will speak to the Vice-President about the idea and then present your idea to the Student Council.
We have had several fundraisers since starting our first day of school at THS. We have raised a lot of money for upcoming events this school year. If we can find the eye of the tiger in us, we can all help out our class in anyway we can.
Being a Class President requires a lot of leadership. I will follow a saying I have know for a long time; Leaders are followers of what is true, what is fair, and what is right.
I have been living by that meaning of leadership since I read that meaning of leadership. I just don't preach leadership, I am leadership.
Thank you Tigers, I ask for your vote on September 28, 2012 because I know we can make a difference in our class. The time is now to leave a paw print in the eye of the Tiger.
