Did you know that DNA can be damaged…and repaired?
DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) is the hereditary material found in humans, animals, and organisms. DNA is in every cell in our bodies. Each cell’s nucleus has DNA, which is rolled into structures that are our chromosomes (23 pairs).
“Most genes contain the information needed to make functional molecules called proteins. (A few genes produce other molecules that help the cell assemble proteins.) The journey from gene to protein is complex and tightly controlled within each cell. It consists of two major steps: transcription and translation. Together, transcription and translation are known as gene expression.
During the process of transcription, the information stored in a gene’s DNA is transferred to a similar molecule called RNA (ribonucleic acid) in the cell nucleus. Both RNA and DNA are made up of a chain of nucleotide bases, but they have slightly different chemical properties. The type of RNA that contains the information for making a protein is called messenger RNA (mRNA) because it carries the information, or message, from the DNA out of the nucleus into the cytoplasm.” (http://ghr.nlm.nih.gov)
The genes direct protein production. For example, a protein (a long chain of amino acids) can be an enzyme that triggers a certain chemical reaction in the body. One function of protein is to boost the immune system.
There are many factors that cause damaged DNA : oxidation, UV radiation from the sun, radiation from Xrays, viruses, plant toxins, and man-made chemicals (chlorine, hydrogen peroxide, hydrocarbons, smoke, pollution, to name a few). Some results of damaged DNA are: premature aging, cancer, diabetes mellitus (diabetes itself may cause DNA damage), Parkinson’s, Alzheimers, chronic fatigue syndrome, and many other conditions.
Cells cannot function properly if the DNA is damaged. However, the cells CAN, through chemical processes, reverse the damage themselves.
Hempseed and hempseed oil have been found to be a factor in DNA repair. Hemp has the perfect 3:1 ratio of Omega fatty acids (Omega 3 and Omega 6) needed by the human body. One ‘job’ of Omega 3 is cellular repair. Hemp is 65% protein, 35% of which is globulin edestin protein. It is the protein that is closest to human globulin, and is very easily digestible by the body.
The protein is a major factor in DNA repair, as the cells use that protein to correct the DNA damage.
Because hemp is the highest source of Edestin protein, AND is responsible for boosting the immune system, it is a perfect addition to the the diet.

It's a pity when you see an article like this posted by The Galactic Free Press. If this is the freedom you want, you might as well be locked up in a box with lots of munchies and shit there forever!
It seems you are against
It seems you are against marijuana, which is understandable as people have been heavily conditioned to be against it, even by some "channelers", but this is talking about hemp seed oil. It's a very nutritous health supplement that you can't even get high off of. Not sure if you even know what freedom is, you sure don't seem to be spreading it, and please let go of your pity, that never helped anybody.
cannabis is a sacrament. it
cannabis is a sacrament. it isn't that high, but its higher than the consciousness of humanity . so go figure, its legalization = acceleration of our progress as a species .
plus it cures cancer. and plus, supposedly "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" are better than fascist punishment and destroying famillies over something safer than beer.
hemp , cannabis, same thing, THC is a medicine, this is the tree of life, with or without THC, discriminating against marijuana users is the same thing as doing so against muslims, christians, or jews, and sure, there is an objective spiritual reality , and that doesn't mean you're going to find out about it here, because its inside, but still, everyone is on a different portion of the evolutionary spiral and some people need cannabis, and they need to enjoy smoking it, and they deserve that right, anything less is brutally inhuman in its advocacy,
that applies to mushrooms and any NON-ADDICTIVE medication ( i.e. "drug" in discrimination lingo )

LSD > alcohll
cannabis > alcohol
kava > alcohol
magic mushrooms > alcohol
what isn't safer and better than alcohol ? its weird that our standard of responsible drug use is set towards one of the most dangerous ones man has unleashed on himself, and our standard of punishment is for things far superior that activate dormant portions of our brains helping us quicken our consciousness
is that as good as being a yogi ? probably no where close, is it better than being a bigot or a racist, yes, cannabis is inversely related to closed mindedness and intolerance and inhuman third circuit solar plexus societal values. cannabis activates the higher chakras in a dormant and enslaved , thereby hateful and ignorant population, it turns many socipaths into thoughtful people, and anyone that doesn't go around thinking good thoughts about everyone they see is a sociopath in my books, and that's a huge portion of the mainstream world because its kept away from the meditative mindset that yes, a plant that is good for you and cures cancer induces
so there. toelrate :)
Cannabis
Were you high when you wrote this? You have many different thoughts that kind of flow erratically, and are not very clear to ones reading them.
All this article you responded to was offering was hemp oil, which is completly natural and health benefitting. Cannabis in its plant form with THC included, is not for everyone.
Just as fruits and nuts can cause allergic reactions in people, I think that cannabis can potentially cause reactions in people too, and so it is a choice.
Hemp
I read aobut this a few weeks ago and am now giving this and coconut oil to my mom who is dealing with ALS. Very exciting news indeed! Hemp is not marijuna and the oil is sold at health food stores. Sorry, you wil not get the munchies with hemp, but it taste great on salads. Bon appetit!
