J.P. Morgan Chase (JPM: 35.81, +0.64, +1.82%) has agreed to pay $100 million to settle a three-year-old lawsuit that accused the biggest U.S. bank of unlawfully boosting minimum monthly credit card payments.

Cardholders, who called the ruling an “excellent result,” claimed the Wall Street bank enticed them to transfer balances from other lenders to Chase accounts and then would consolidate their debt into loans with “fixed” interest rates until balances were paid off.

Slap on the Hand

Listener's picture

It is with sorrow that I see these postings.  It is with sorrow that anyone could take this as any kind of Victory.  J.P.Morgan is in fact insolvent.  They rely not on a stack of gold or a sheaf of property deeds, neither do they hold interest in graneries, forests or manufacturing.  They have a Mound of Paper coupled with a plethora of digital 1's and 0's provided by the FED which is backed by the common man.

When they take out their checkbook and write out this loss, or rather when they instruct their monkey in the backroom to bang on the zero key a bunch of times, it is you and me, Brother that pays their Piper.

This is not what Sorrows me. I am sorrowful that we, the Spiritually Healthy, We, the Galactically Aligned are tuning in to this in the first place.

If you dig around a little you will find the story about the Phoenix rising from the ashes.  You will find the story of Shiva.  You will find stories of death and resurrection.

These Stories are actually about the fact that Each Minute is created anew and in that millisecond the Past "dies."

If everyone on Earth screwed their Brain on Correctly, Paradise could be created inside of One Second...All would change instantly.  The Phoenix cannot be unleashed until the Old is thrown into the Fire.  It is the Fire of 'I don't care" about the Validity of J.P Whomever.  I will not use your Fiat Currency.  I will trade my Slave Coupons in for Hard Currency and I will not honor these False Governments.  I will not send my children off to Die in your Wars.  I will not eat unhealthy food. (that was a big topic in biblical times.)  I will ignore the News and plant some Peach Trees.

If posts like this

If posts like this bother you, don't read them.
Part of our job is to expose The Truth. The Truth is that J.P. Morgan Chase engaged in illegal activity and now is being held accountable. When The Truth is revealed, that is a victory for The Light. When criminals are held accountable, in a non-violent way, that is a victory for The Light. When The Truth is revealed, it helps people wake up.

Many more unpleasant Truths will be revealed soon. This is part of our mission and part of the healing of humanity. If reading or hearing The Truth makes you sad, then please do not engage. That is your decision. Focus on your own spiritual development. Criticizing other Lightworkers who are carrying out their own missions is not helpful.

He is not criticizing you.

He is not criticizing you.  He is taking the thought to a higher level.  100 million dollars is meaningless, whether or not JP Morgan has the money.  It's a slap on the wrist.  Read what he said and get over yourself.  It's not criticism, it's higher thought.  It's great that you posted what you did, because it is progress, but 100 million dollar fines are not THE answer.  It's a step in the right direction.  Wake up!  ... Oh, and don't have a comment section if you're not open to people having other viewpoints and expressing them.  Really, wake up a little more!

P.S.  But yes, it is a start,

P.S.  But yes, it is a start, and for that I and many others are grateful.  But it's still part of the game that we want to end.  The 100 million is meaningless to them.  It's numbers in a column.  They are paying for nothing, and though they are getting caught to a degree, they are still getting away with it.  It's a start, but it's still playing their game with their rules.

Don't have a comments section if you are not prepared to maybe have to read and learn from others.

Thanks for posting the news though.  Onward and upward!

P.S.

But until these people are jailed, removed, or their game board is put away, their game is still being perpetuated.  They will write the 100 million as a write off, the consumers will have fees raised in other ways, and 100 million is just a bunch of numbers in a column, they will still receive bonuses.  My point is that,  yes, it's great news that they are being exposed and fined, but it is not enough, and therefore if someone is pointing that out on this site, what is the harm in that?  I thought we wanted liberation!  So it's  helpful to have people point out THE TRUTH.

Wow

Wow. So much criticism today. Well, that's okay. There is a lot of venting going on and I will admit that I don't like people venting and tossing their ego bits at me. It's not fun.

Am I the only one who picked up on these statements:

"It is with sorrow that I see these postings. It is with sorrow that anyone could take this as any kind of Victory."

" I am sorrowful that we, the Spiritually Healthy, We, the Galactically Aligned are tuning in to this in the first place."

Yes, that did sound like criticism to me. I believe Listener that that was not his intention but we did not know that at the time. It sounds like he is telling others what they should be focusing on, i.e., not things like this.

And because of that, I wrote a reply that I thought was both thoughtful and polite. I AM sorry you don't see it that way. It's not always easy to deal with the negative comments here at The Press. WE have become easy targets for those going through difficult times emotionally. Some people feeling the need to vent/release have let the Golden Rule fly right out the window.

I will end by repeating the most important part: Criticizing other Lightworkers who are carrying out their own missions is not helpful.

And don't criticize people for pointing something out and then say, "Namaste" at the end of it.  I remember this kind of falsity and hypocrisy during the hippie era.  People would say Peace after ripping someone to shreds.  Really take in what you just did, posting something and someone had a different thought.  This is not right.  And, yes, I'll have my own lesson in this also.

I just want those bankers to stop with the games, and with people thinking that a slap on the wrist is enough, well, we are not getting far enough.  We're on our way though.

Namaste means that the divine in me recognizes the divine in you. It's how I end almost all of my communication. It's sincere. It's a sign of respect and thoughtfulness. It is my way of saying that I may not agree with or like what you said but I still LOVE you unconditionally. It means that I recognize my connection with you even though this may be a difficult exchange.
It is possible to engage in respectful and thoughtful debate, even on the internet.

Hi

Listener's picture

I applaud your work.  I myself have been following "The Demise of Western Society" with quiet glee for a couple of years now and could write many Great pieces of the ins and outs.  I get my news before it appears here.  I wrote that as a Lament, not a critique.

That said, You might want to plant a Peach Tree yourself, push your chair back from your computer table, smile like a child, and go run in the Sprinkler.

Always Yours,

Exactly.  Well said.  THAT IS THE TRUTH!

While most everything you say

While most everything you say I absolutely agree with, I feel this story is about people waking up and working together. It's not something to have sorrow over, it's something to celebrate. Offer your sadness as a sacrifice before God, and you'll find Joy.
