It's here. In this time of transition, the space between world ages, 2012 is a watershed year. And within this year, from an astrologer's perspective, June is the pivotal month.
It's hard to believe it's been six months since I prepared my forecast for 2012, and now the big moments are upon us. The main event began with a mesmerizing annular solar eclipse nearly two weeks ago (May 20). Those who could view the lunar crossing (and the rest of us) are forever changed.
The drama continues this weekend with a partial lunar eclipse that forms a mutable grand cross conjunct a mysterious region in deep space known as the Great Attractor.
Then comes the historic Transit of Venus on June 5/6 (depending on your time zone). With Venus, we travel the underworld, transform shamanically and prepare for rebirth.
Right now we're in the wobble - a period of shifting electromagnetics related to the alignment of heavenly bodies that can be unsettling, exciting and frightening at the same time. How are you feeling it?
A Clean Slate
As I watched the shadow of the Moon pass over the face of the Sun on May 20 with a group of loving, creative souls in the Southwest, I had a distinct impression of wiping the slate clean.
Embedded within the current eclipse-Venus series is the possibility of releasing the past, and beginning again. Perhaps more profound is the potential resolution of duality that keeps us shackled in our smallness, separated from our divine source and each other.
Through the 2012 passage, we're invited to re-vision our lives and begin to re-create the world. The stars are aligned, as they say, to support the shift. It's a perfect time for ritual and celebration.
