Lead by example
What happens when the leaders fail? who do you look up to? who do you count on? In our generation education is key to survival, it is important to choose wisley on making sure that our career happens and that its exactly what you imagined it to be. So you think to yourself what school is great, what teachers are well-known and what program will open doors to all possibilities. Just when you think you found each and every one of lose you realize that the leaders you looked up to and thought were so great are just human beings gathering their pay check with no care in the world. How does one truly lead by example when the people who are leading us are demonstrating the poorest of examples. The answer, create your own examples. Be a student and represent your students because one day you will all be leaders and will hopefully make change in our "educational system" 2012 has changed our hometown college dramatically to the point that it is no longer a place to learn, enjoy and embrace your futures its a place that we dread going to, have no respect for and count down days until we are finished.
The moral: Never think that there is no way to fix things. Dont let indivudals who are supposed to be your leaders, lead you in the wrong direction. You are your own person and college is your own place where your future is to be created. Fight for everything you deserve. Ensure that every cent put towards your education is being used properly and that each grade you recieve is the proper grade. Most importantly dont let a teacher, staff member or school representative tell you that you cant do it because there is always someone out there who will help you tell them different.
