We’re heading into another date rich in predictions (October 28, 2011 or the end of the Mayan Calendar) and, as far as I can see, it’ll probably bring a fresh set of considerations, disputes, etc. So perhaps we can discuss a few matters before that time arrives.

One is the necessity to make robust distinctions that serve us in seeing what may be transpiring and another is the trap of wanting to be right.

Before setting out, however, I’d like to suggest that we’re involved in a co-operative enterprise, about as co-operative as anything we can possibly imagine. We’re involved in co-operating with each other to end the rule of the dark on Earth. We’re involved in  co-operating with each other to bring abundance to Earth, global peace, an end to  toxicity and pollution, and Ascension.

If we co-operate well, we’ll enter a dimension on which the unity or oneness of all humanity and all life will be our daily and unalterable experience. We’ll achieve unitive consciousness which will bring us to the epitome of co-operation. That’s our goal. That’s what we’re aiming for.

Therefore the hostility, conflict and competition that has been our way since long ago can be said to have no more future . If we’re still feeding the wolf of competition inside ourselves, we’re feeding the wrong animal. We need to start feeding the lamb of co-operation.

How that may look in regards to October 28, 2011, could prove to be something like this. Yes, October 28, 2011 could quite conceivably be the end of the Mayan Calendar but that does not necessarily mean that all and everything will occur on that day. We need finer distinctions around the day to appreciate its meaning.

Let me illustrate what I’m trying to say by an example. If we look through a microscope, we know that if we turn the dial, we can increase the power of the microscope or decrease it. If we increase it, we may see micro-organisms or even molecular or atomic particles. If we decrease it, we may see multicellular organisms but not the other micro-organisms, etc. So we see different things depending on the power of the microscope we draw on.

So too with the Mayan Calendar. Just because we may not see Ascension on October 28, 2011 does not mean that that date is not the end of the Mayan Calendar and that processes may be triggered by it being the end. It just means that, if we have the microscope set to one day’s duration, or even a duration of a few days, or a few weeks, we may not see what we’re looking for. We may need to decrease the power of the microscope if we are to take in or be able to see what events come with the end of the Mayan Calendar.

If we decrease the power of the microscope so that it takes in the one year or perhaps year and a half following the end of the billions of years that the Mayan Calendar describes, then for sure we’ll probably see Ascension and know it as following the end of the Mayan Calendar. Just not by a day or a week.

Is Carl Calleman somehow wrong if we interpreted him as saying that Ascension, etc., would occur at the “end” of the Mayan Calendar? No. We simply may not be able to interpret the “end” as being a single day – Oct. 28. The “end” may refer to a period that stretches past the calendar end by more than just a single day.

A second distinction. Is it the “end” of the Mayan Calendar that triggers events? I think not. If we think it is, we may find that we’re thinking in ways that are more deterministic than they should be.

It is deterministic of me to say that if I add salt to water, I’ll get sodium hydroxide and hydrogen (I have no idea, by the way, if I’ll get these constituent elements if I add salt to water; I’m not a scientist and am just making this up for the purposes of illustration). Things are not that cut and dried in the real/real world that they occur like chemical reactions. Personal choice enters into the matter in a way that it doesn’t with chemical reactions.

Our personal choice? To a certain degree. But another form of personal choice than simply ours.

Various people look at Creator and say that the Absolute, the Creator, is not personal but impersonal. But if we consider that the One who is in all, the universal Subject, is itself personal, then we can say that the Creator’s choice of when something will happen is itself an example of personal choice. The Universal Subject, the “I” in all of us is that Divine Person.

Sananda is in charge of the Galactic Federation and the White Brotherhood in regard to all decisions concerning Ascension, as he says here.

“Within this Earth sphere of activity I am the Supreme Commander over all of the Ashtar Command and its activities and over the Ascended Masters of the Great White Brotherhood.” (1)

He sees the final decision in all matters relating to Ascension as residing with the Creator, as is implied in these words:

“My opinion of what Creator has in mind is that He is waiting until the last possible moment to gather as many Starseeds as possible into the first wave so that there are the maximum number of Ascended Masters returning to do the maximum amount of good to cover the Earth with Christs. So if it takes a little longer than you hope it is because, in my opinion, He is waiting until the last moment.” (2)

So not only does the final decision about our personal Ascension reside with us, but the final decision on when Ascension occurs generally resides with the Creator. So the timing of Ascension is a personal matter if we allow that the Creator is also a Person.

We heard in the last article (3) Archangel Michael say that Ascension could happen sooner than Dec. 2012.

“Do we want you to be wedded to a date? No. Do we say that the dates that have been given are accurate and significant? Yes. If you were paralyzed, and let us suggest that in many ways the collective has been paralyzed, if you were paralyzed, and you were praying and praying and doing your sacred practice, and meditating for healing, and you were given the date of December 2012, would you be upset, dear friend, if it arrived in September? I think not.

“So look to your dates, but at the same time we are asking deeply of you, keep an open mind to early arrival.” (4)

So we could say, if Ascension does not occur on Oct. 28, 2011, that the Mayan Calendar is wrong. But I would not agree. It just means that we’re looking at events with the microscope turned up too high. Creator did intend Ascension to happen at the end of this cycle but just not on the very day this cycle ends. We’ve made a series of distinctions that allows us to see this more refined view of the end of the cycle, which reconciles both the views of Carl and the views of the 2012 people.

So that’s what I wanted to say about the necessity of ensuring that we have distinctions which are robust enough to prevent our falling out because we consider one person to have been wrong about a date. It isn’t that they were wrong. It’s that our distinctions were not robust or refined enough to take in the points they make (that the Mayan Calendar ends on that date) with the real determining factor of when Ascension happens (the Creator’s Will).

Now I’d like to turn to a second matter that’s related and that’s the tendency to see things in terms of right and wrong.

In the past we’ve used predictions as a game of right and wrong. I predict that such-and-such will happen on this day and if it does, then I’m right and those who opposed me are wrong. Many people, who play this game, make predictions and, when they work out, assume a position of authority as the one who made an important and correct prediction.

But surely anyone who has been following end-times predictions for any length of time has learned that many variables go into deciding when to initiate events like Disclosure, NESARA, and accountability. The Company of Light does not act precipitately. It doesn’t do things simply because they will please us. And it certainly doesn’t do things because a certain galactic alignment takes place.

They deliberate on events and act if all seems to promise the greatest good for the greatest number or if acting will not result in significant harm, etc. They use wisdom and compassion and don’t behave like deterministic robots. If we happen to have been right in our predictions, it doesn’t necessarily show superior insight. It could have been just plain luck. The Company of Light will act when they decide it is the right time and no amount of our taking various factors into account can in the end predict when that will be.

In the last analysis, they will act when Creator gives the green light. And that time has nothing necessarily to do with any other factors than Creator’s own sense of what is best.

So to engage in contests of saying I’m right and you’re wrong is like two ants arguing over what a human being will do next. It ill befits us. And it probably says more about where ego still claims us than anything about our skills.

So what will happen on October 28 is what will happen. Anyone who says they know what that is is probably putting on an act for self-serving reasons, as far as I’m concerned.

The Company of Light will act on that day as it seems wisest to act and we’ll probably have to sit back and wait to see that that will be.

There is a maturing process that’s at least as important as any other outcome that needs to happen with us. We need to realize our role in all that’s unfolding. Our role is to promote, enable, and serve it. Our role is not to use what’s happening to prove what a good, noble, wise or deserving person we are. That is service to self and, where we’re going, service to others is the order of the day.
