If you happen to live in California, and wish to help our planet to be free of fracking in this state, please read this notice!
Great news. Yesterday, SB 1132 passed in the Natural Resources Committee of the California State Senate. That brings us one step closer to a fracking moratorium in California. Californians, please ask your family and friends to sign the petition today: http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/pass-sb-1132-california?mailing_id=21483&source=s.icn.em.cr&r_by=8711458 If everyone who signed this petition got just one more person to sign, we would have over 50,000 signatures before the next hearing on April 30. Please post the petition on Facebook and email your lists today asking everyone you know in California to sign this petition today: http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/pass-sb-1132-california?mailing_id=21483&source=s.icn.em.cr&r_by=8711458 We can achieve a fracking moratorium in California this year. Pat PS: Two Republicans, Cannella and Fuller, voted against SB 1132 in committee. Two Democrats, Lara and Hueso, abstained. If you live in their districts, you might want to give them a call and let them know what you think.
