Missouri is suddenly a hotspot for UFO sightings, and now incidents are pouring in from the southeastern part of the state. So much so, that local news stations have begun picking up the story.
Last week dozens of witnesses saw a strange, unidentified flying object, hovering in the night sky around Cape Girardeau. It was described as round, with red and white blinking lights. Eyewitnesses say they know the difference between an airplane and what they were looking at and can offer no explanation.
The area has a long history of unusual sightings, with reports going back for decades. This news report includes comments by a woman who claims her grandfather was sworn to secrecy after investigating a crashed UFO with the dead bodies of aliens inside.
Whether a believer or not, it seems the rash of sightings in this area, hundreds of miles east of Kansas City, the scene of the most recent incidents (particularly around the Kansas City International airport) is starting to heat up.
What does it mean?
