Traders waited nervously Thursday for the Nasdaq to begin trading after a two-hour shutdown Thursday. The exchange said partial trading would resume at approximately 2:45, and be completely back online at 3:10.
Dozens of publicly traded companies, including high-profile companies such as Apple (AAPL), Microsoft (MSFT) and Facebook (FB), were showing their shares halted. The Nasdaq status message was time stamped at 12:14:03 ET. As of 2:10, the exchange was still down.
