After graduating from high

After graduating from high school,  I ASSUMED being a CNA was going to lead me to nursing.  As a child, I imagined that to be what I wanted to be.  After working at most of the nursing homes in my city, I realized it was not my calling.  I did not last long at the nursing homes because they said I spent too much time with my patients.  I could not just leave them when they really wanted someone to talk to.  I could not just shove food in their mouths as I was told.  I could not watch other cna's pinch them and ignore it.  It was so disgusting to my sould how they treated them. At one nursing home, they made me cook and gave me one roll of sausage, a dozen of eggs, not enough food for the patients and when I fixed thier plates with that tiny bit of food on each, they looked at me like it was my fault.  I walked out and never even went back to get a paycheck.  I could not face those elders after I felt I had betrayed them by not telling on the people who owned the home. I apologize to those elders.

I agree that we have to somehow correct that problem.  We must.  I AM going to start by sending positive energy to the people who work in those environments.  Thanks for reminding me to do so.
