This is as you say on a higher level a reaction that reaches people all over the world, to meet this devastating act with roses and songs, to unite in peace will lift the spirit of the world reverbrate through the continents. The Norwegian people are showing a very strong dignified spirit and it moves the soul and the spirit of all of us.
Still I write, to show a view that is wider than what we see at the moment.
I do not condone the actions of this man who has executed and killed the people of my country, I abhor these actions and I am deeply pained and saddened by this- we all are.
But I am thankful, for this has brought about a unity, a deep unity we feel and share and in these days it is highly tangible,. It brings out a character of us Norse and a dignity in our reaction. The people of the world has their eyes on us, they see a nation in deep pain who replies to terror with peace and love, and silent togetherness that touches us all to the core. It has for me become a deep spiritual experience where I in awe and wonder feel utterly thankful for this time and this place in history.
Well said, there will always be people that twist things, but you are, in my humble opinion, spot on. Thanks for posting and thanks for your wisdom and for speaking out loud. Brg. from Norway.
