Obama Administration Fights for the NDAA

will's picture

The Obama administration had some harsh words Friday after a federal judge appointed by Obama said the government doesn't have a right to indefinitely detain anyone even remotely associated with terrorist groups.

Judge Katherine B. Forrest permanently blocked the government from enforcing the National Defense Authorization Act, claiming it was too vague and would have a "chilling effect" on free speech.

And now the Department of Justice is calling Forrest's ruling "unprecedented," arguing that the government has long had the authority to detain anyone it deems a threat to the county, The Wall Street Journal's Law Blog reported Friday.

If someone would be so kind,

If someone would be so kind, please shed some light on this action by the Obama administration.

With respect to the channelers and their messages regarding Obama being claimed as a light worker, I do not simply overlook the facts and will not just agree or put faith into mere words because actions and facts such as these is against the US Constitution and is NOT in favor of the people.
If Obama really is a lightworker, why would he even pass the NDAA? I would like to believe that Obama is working for the light. However, actions speak louder than words and the NDAA would probably be considered as one of the most atrocious laws ever passed.
Kindly note that my intention is not to bash Obama, but rather, to get insight and to have a clearer understanding of the grand plan. I'm open to being wrong and I'm more than willing to gladly admit it. Perhaps there's something positive going on behind the scenes which in the end will turn out in favor of the people in which I'm simply not aware of.
If so, kindly shed some light.
But, if there is no sound explanation, with respect to the GFP, the channelers, and their channeled messages, it's not fair to be baised and continue to portray Obama as "good" when actions such as the above portray otherwise.
On September 12, 2012 I was relived to know that the American people were victorious over the NDAA and that it was blocked by Judge Katherine Forrest.

But now the Obama Administration is fighting for the NDAA?

Why?

Looking forward to a reply.
Thank you kindly in advance.

Thank you for this message. You have expressed my own thoughts on this and I too look forward to hearing from others on this.

Namaste :-)

Some people want to make

Some people want to make Obama into a hero, and some want to make him into a villian. He's neither of those things, he's a human being. He has strengths and weaknesses and I have a lot of compassion for where he's at. He's surrounded by corruption, and I'm sure he's fed lies all day long. I don't believe Obama is going to save the US, it's the citizens that need to stand up and say, "No more!". Individually, many have done that, but as a whole it has yet to happen.

I certainly don't agree with the NDAA, though the "indefinite detention" section itself has this part in it: "Nothing in this section shall be construed to affect existing law or authorities relating to the detention of United States citizens, lawful resident aliens of the United States, or any other persons who are captured or arrested in the United States." If it doesn't effect existing laws, then the Constitution still applies to US citizens. The rest of the section is vague and contradictory, which I think is more of a problem with the way laws are written in the US moreso than an "evil" president wanting to be able to arrest everybody. He didn't write the bill anyway, it was John McCain, Carl Levin, and Buck McKeon who put in the indefinite detention part.

It should also be noted that Obama fought against the indefinite military detention part:

Obama orders waivers to new rules on detaining terrorism suspects

Obama just 'Vetoed' Indefinite Military Detention in NDAA

Are people just igoring this, or did nobody even notice?

Very well spoken, thank you!

When I heard the ruling I felt as if a weight was lifted. Why push for this if he already has the law on his side to go after the so called terrorist? Both parties Obama and Romney scare the heck outa me!
