Gibbous Moon Phase - Moon in Sagittarius/Capricorn
Today's energy shows us that whatever we need or whatever we need to know is right in front of us. It is simple, but the tendency is to become so mired in complexity that we fail to see it. The energy also has us asking ourselves big questions about our lives and pushing us into the desire to retreat. The way to stay on track with this today is to maintain the attitude of innocence and selflessness. Don't personalize things. The energy is building toward a release tomorrow. Mars will finally enter Libra, where it will begin its approach to oppose Uranus and square Pluto, both at the same time later this month on July 17th.
On that day, the Sun will also square Saturn and the Moon will oppose Pluto. Big eruptions in the status quo and sanity of everything with all of these planets in cardinal signs! So we need to begin to prepare ourselves for this and the way to do it today is to practice staying the course of simplicity. We know that the sure-fire way to do this is to reconnect with some aspect of the natural world around us. The skill requires only for us to stop and look - to be conscious. The Earth is what grounds us. Today's photo comes from www.spaceweather.com and shows a solar prominence, a huge, super-charged magenetic filament, that is dancing across the Sun. If this prominence collapses today as Mars prepares to enter Libra (to join the other powerhouse planets in cardinal signs), it is going to be felt through the intensification of today's events. If it happens when Mars crosses the threshold into Libra, well, then we are going to need to go into crash-course wise old owl mode. The filament may not collapse at all. But, given the confluence of the electrical effects of the planets in cardinal signs, it is something to watch. I will keep up with this today and send out a message on twitter if it collapses. (You can follow me on twitter @OracleReport.) Remember the first sentence of this report: whatever we need or whatever we need to know is right in front of us.
