New Moon Phase

We have two main energetic themes developing today. First, we must find time to rest. Take several short time-outs if you don’t have time to for a longer break. Our mental, physical, and emotional bodies are taking big hits. There is a need to “escape from reality” because “reality” is changing rapidly and we need time to adjust. Second, Mars has retrograded back to the position in the sky known as the point of “volcanic eruption.”

The wisdom of the ancients tells us that cathartic release transpires under this influence. If you have been holding something inside, it may come to the surface in a particularly dramatic way today. Resistance is low, so things are forcing their way out into the open. This could take any type of form – like the release of ideas, not just the release of feelings (like anger). If something starts to blow, we just need to let it blow because resisting it will cause an enormous build up of pressure. The thing to look at is what the blow up is really about. There may be a misdirection – meaning it is really about something else. Pisces and Virgos will be especially prone to the energy today, so take care.
