We have a bit of an emotional, serious day in store today. Last week, new opportunities presented themselves or at least made themselves known as possibilities. Today we have the exact opposite, with the theme of loss tempting us to give up or throw everything away.This is the extreme expression of the energy, but the temptation to go to that level is strong.

This is part of a process of grief and we need allow ourselves space to feel it if we begin to notice it. The energy is trying to get us to let go of something that is no longer there or is no longer working. To do this, sometimes we need to acknowledge what we have lost or what we are in the throes of losing. All of this will cause some people to become exceptionally stubborn.

Stubbornness leads to inertia – not growth, which is what we are interested in here. This picture will help to remind you to look at your life in totality, not just one part of it. In the wide open field of possibilities (the white flowers), it is easy to stare at the one thing that does not fit in with the rest (the red flower). If you focus only on the red flower, you miss the rest of the picture.
