Anxiety, worry and angst are a state that people in today’s world experience on daily basis. This fearful state is a bodily symptom caused when a persistent negative thought pattern is being maintained. On average we think about 1 thought per 1.2 seconds. However, the thoughts we pay attention to will become more prominent and will eventually form a habit or a pattern of thinking. In other words, the more we focus on a particular train of thought, the more repetitive it becomes as a bodily experience. 

When you are being present (in the now) you can observe how each thought is directly connected to the body and has a bodily sensation associated with it (either pleasant or unpleasant). It is impossible to have a thought without a sensation. Negative thoughts will create unpleasant sensations while positive thoughts will produce pleasant sensations.
