Texas Oil and Gas Companies Say Accidents Led to Massive Pollution

According to a Environmental Integrity Project (EIP) report issued on July 18th, there were so many so-called “accidents” at refineries, oil and gas facilities and petrochemical plants throughout Texas, that the total pollution emitted across the state amounted to an astonishing 100,000 tons from 2009 through 2011.
