Three Earthquakes Shake North Texas

One earthquake late Sunday night, two earthquakes on Saturday night.

Thousands felt ground shake for 20 seconds southeast of DFW International Airport. Another earthquake at Loop 12 near I-30.

Thousands felt ground shake for 20 seconds southeast of DFW International Airport. Another earthquake at Loop 12 near I-30.

Three earthquakes shook North Texas on Sunday and Saturday night. The U.S. Geological Survey confirms a magnitude 2.1 earthquake occured Sunday at 10:41:09 p.m. The epicenter is 32.841°N, 96.930°W. The location is southeast of Las Colinas Country Club along Carl Road and north of Highway 183.  There are no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

Sunday night's earthquake was less than 24 hours after two other quakes. The U.S. Geological Survey confirms a magnitude 3.4 earthquake occured Saturday at 11:05:01 p.m. southwest of Las Colinas Country Club near North McArthur Blvd. and West Rochelle Road. That was followed by a magnitude 3.1 earthquake at 11:09:03 p.m at Loop 12 Walton Walker Blvd., just north of I-30 in far West Dallas.
