Like The Tree

I was doing my meditations a couple of days ago and in one of them there stood this big tree all alone. It was a very large tree dressed in late fall wardrobe. All the leaves where gone and it was standing there very full and majestic with lots of branches and twigs. I knew it had a message for me because I could feel the connection to this tree. Though I did not know what that connection or message was. Today as I did my meditation and a flood of thoughts about the tree came to me which I feel I need shared.

Now days a lot of us talk about nature and taking care of it. We talk about our connections to it. What I realized is we are just like that tree. Maybe not big full and majestic, even though some of us are. But we are all trees if you think about it. Some of us are thin and blow with the breezes. Some of us are big and solid like an oak. Some of us have the spirits of centuries gone by like the redwoods. Then I got the feeling it was much more than that. Some of us stand alone as that tree was. Some are in small groves with trees around them. Then there are others that live in the forest. The groves felt like small cities where the forest was like a metropolitan area. Then the tree said look at me. I started from a seed as you did. With nurturing, nutrition and love I have continued to grow. I have a trunk of bark and depending on the tree that I am it can be thick or thin. Some of you have thicker skin then others. You put up different types of protection around yourself. Those protections determine how easy or hard it is to reach deep inside you. As I start to grow, I grew straight, just as you do when you are young. Then my branches come out. Notice how you start to branch off in one way or another. As you notice some of my branches are big and solid. How many things have you went off and did really well or spent lots of time doing it. I have other branches that are very small, thin and fragile. I am sure you have dabbled in many things but not went into them deeply. Then there are my twigs. To me they are like all the people you have touched in your life.

And with this perspective are we really any different than a tree? Are we not all truly one? Sometimes we just need to change are perspective to see how much we truly are like all other things in the universe like the tree. Sending you love and Light and bathing you in Pure Energy.
