Apparently, UFO pilots love a good fireworks show. For the second time in a week, an unidentified flying object was spotted hovering near a pyrotechnics display, this time celebrating the birth of Switzerland.
The most famous sighting in the past week was spotted near the Olympics opening ceremonies as the rockets flew over the crowd. This time, a Swiss couple, out to celebrate a national holiday, caught this object floating in the air as the crowd enjoyed the display.
The excited couple, chattering in their native tongue, seem to be more interested in watching this brightly lit object, which does not display normal aircraft running lights, than they do the fireworks show. The UFO is fairly far away, so even zooming in doesn't reveal much detail.
But the picture above does show unusual illumination, looking more like LED or neon, than aircraft navigational lights.
The object looks spherical and, at one point, seems to be evading a clearly identifiable airplane passing by.
