One of the most difficult things to do on your path of awakening is embracing unconditional trust. There is so many times where the Ego wants to come in and give reasons to distrust your own intuition and guidance, or even understating the messages that you receive.
When you are faced with any decision in life, it is very important to learn to rely on your own intuition over time. Yes, it is nice to go get a reading when you are unsure about things, or need confirmation of what you are facing, but ultimately you will be in a space where you are becoming your own master and therefore, need to trust in what comes through you.
Everyone has the ability to be intuitive and to listen to their own guidance, but for various reasons and past life energy, some people have fear or doubt in this process. Unconditional trust is about letting go, and then maintaining that letting go. It is like releasing a bird in flight, to let it go and trust that it knows what is for its best and highest good. But the reality is that most people stay in a space of worry and concern after they think they have let go of something.
To learn about trust, you must be willing to let go even before you feel that you are ready to do so. This is why a good practice in trust is to ask for help from Spirit on both small and large things. Once you to start seeing evidence of this process working for you on a small scale, the Ego will have an easier time allowing the larger things in life to unfold with less interference.
This interference is what worry is; it is energy spent not on creating solutions, but focusing on all of the “what-ifs" and potential problems. Remind yourself if you are having a moment of worry, doubt or fear that the solution already exists and you are simply working on moving it from the spiritual realms into physicality.
Things are not always as they seem in the physical world, yet that is where the Ego will seek evidence (or lack thereof) of this trust. Unconditional trust is essential to having the life and the world that you have always dreamed of, and this is attainable for everyone. Just mix in a little astrological guidance and a sprinkle of releasing karmic lessons and then the world becomes a place that can be a true reflection of your higher self.
In order to get to that place, you must look within to see if there are any areas of your life where you are having difficulty embodying that state of being. Is it in relationships? Money? Family? Health? Career? Whatever area of your life many present difficulty to you, try to view it as the medium by which you are allowing yourself for learning/testing/growing to take place.
If you find yourself having difficultly making a career transition, try examining what about your current job situation you do not wish to have any longer. Then turn those undesirable traits into a list of requirements for a new job situation to come your way. Also, you will need a degree of detachment to view the current situation impartially, in order to recognize if you are participating in dramas which are keeping you connected to what you want to release.
The current Mercury retrograde cycle (March 30th to April 23rd) is a wonderful time to finish up the energy tied to things you want to release. Whatever area of your life that this may be in, use it for a little spring cleaning, organizing your emails, shredding old documents or whatever is necessary to clear up the old energy. This way when Mercury goes direct, you will be poised to accept the new opportunities that begin to come your way.
If you feel tightness in your stomach or apprehension upon hearing about the new opportunities, remember that they only are what you make of them. As long as you embrace the unconditional trust of both yourself and Spirit, you will be able to smoothly transition from releasing those things which no longer serve you into a space where the new is a true reflection of your Divinity.
It is a common saying on the Earth plane, "Believe and receive." This is absolutely true; by believing in yourself, your relationship with the Divine and unconditional trust; you will truly be able to receive all that is waiting for you in the world of Spirit. It all has already been in existence in that energetic space, and by having that implicit belief, you are now raising your hand and saying to Spirit, "I am ready for the physical embodiment of these gifts in my life.”
