Kizimen (Kamchatka): The lava dome continues to grow and produce hot avalanches on the western and eastern volcanic flanks. KVERT reports moderate seismicity
Shiveluch (Kamchatka): Activity of the growing lava dome after the recent larger collapse on 27 June has remained elevated. Smaller rockfalls and possibly explosions have occurred over the past days, possibly as a result of re-adjustments of the young collapse scar. Several minor ash plumes have been detected by VAAC Tokyo.
Tolbachik (Kamchatka): The explosive-effusive eruption continues with lava flows from the southern fissure on Tolbachinsky Dol. KVERT mentions in its weekly update last night that several cinder cones are growing at the vent.
Lokon-Empung (North Sulawesi, Indonesia): Following several weeks of relative calm, the volcano produced another small ash eruption today. According to local newspapers, an explosion occurred at 12:43 local time and ejected bombs and blocks to up to 700 m height. A small ash plume drifted to the SSW.
Ambrym (Vanuatu): Activity at the lava lakes remains strong. A significant SO2 plume was visible today on satellite data.
Mauna Loa (Big Island, Hawai'i): Very weak unrest in the form of inflation and seismic activity continues at the largest active volcano of our earth, which has not erupted since 1984. However, this activity is not strong enough to justify a raise of the alert level from green "normal" to yellow "unrest". There is currently no sign that Mauna Loa will erupt any time soon.

Kilauea (Hawai'i): The eruption continued with no significant changes over the past weeks. The level of lava inside the Halema'uma'u crater rises and falls with the inflation-deflation cycles, but overall continues to rise very slowly.
The two lava flow fields fed from Pu'u 'O'o remained active. The Kahauale`a 2 lava continued burning forest to the north of the rift axis. Southeast of Pu`u `O`o, the Peace Day flow had minor active breakouts near the base of the pali and mid-way across the coastal plain.
Veniaminof (Alaska Peninsula, USA): Small lava flows continue to be erupted from the intra-caldera cone, as seismic data (nearly continuous, low-level volcanic tremor) and satellite data indicate that show a hot spot around the cone. No significant explosive activity has been detected.
Pavlov (Alaska Peninsula, USA): No further eruptive activity has been observed.
Popocatépetl (Central Mexico): The intensity of the current eruptive phase has been easing a bit during the night. Explosions and gas and ash emissions have become more intermittent, but still produce plumes reaching 3-4 km above the volcano.
Tremor has been occurring in phases of medium to strong intensity, lasting one to several hours, but showing an overall decreasing trend over the past 24 hours. More volcanic-tectonic earthquakes have been recorded as well, which indicates that the eruption is far from over.
Santa María / Santiaguito (Guatemala): INSIVUMEH reports no changes in activity. The Caliente dome shows abundant degassing and a few weak to moderate explosions expelling columns of gray ash to heights of up to about 600 m above the dome and drifting for 10 km to the west over the area of the villages San Marcos and Loma Linda Palajujoj.
The southern lava flow on the side of the dome is active with avalanches of blocks.
Pacaya (Guatemala): Weak to moderate strombolian activity from the Mackenney crater continues. The small intracater cone has grown to about 25 m height, INSIVUMEH reported. Some explosions can be heard in up to 5 km distance.
