The Kenyan government has banned imports of genetically modified organisms over health fears. On Wednesday, Health Minister Beth Mugo announced a ban on foods containing GM ingredients, effective immediately, pending tests on the health effects of the foods.
Ms Mugo said health officials would ensure GM foods are removed from sale while tests are ongoing. She said, “My ministry wishes to clarify the decision was based on genuine concerns that adequate research had not been done on GMOs and scientific evidence provided to prove the safety of these foods.”
The concept of Christ consciousness is now becoming more and more into the main stream of self-development work. To try to define this concept would be foolish, but for those of you who are ready to explore, THE NEXT STEP is yours.

SOLAR WIND: A medium-speed (~450 km/s) solar wind stream is blowing past Earth. The action of this weak stream is not enough to trigger full-fledged geomagnetic storms, but it is enough to ignite auroras around the Arctic Circle. Anyone who has ever known and loved someone using chemotherapy knows just what a toxic cocktail those drugs truly are. So when faced with the idea that an 8-month-old baby could go through those horrific side effects or try something else, namely marijuana, to treat a brain tumor, my money is on the “something else” every time.
This is exactly the question parents of an 8-month-old baby were faced with recently when they opted to treat their baby with cannabinoid oil (a form of marijuana) on the baby’s pacifier twice a day. Within two months the tumor had shrunk so dramatically that the baby’s doctor’s did not have to use chemo. Amazing, no?

We made it! We got through 2012. Well – almost. THE month of THE year that has been talked about for decades is finally here. The date we’ve all had thrust into our consciousness – December 21is the date of the ‘Galactic Alignment.’ The what – you may ask? The Galactic Alignment is the alignment of the December solstice Sun with the Galactic equator.

As we get closer to December 21st, 2012, I want to share with you my excitement and thoughts about this important time in which we are living.
Each day, I will post a little message about what each of us can do to make this world a better place. It begins with you, but continues with your loved ones, your family, your coworkers, and your neighbors. Help be part of a change that can restore humanity to a place where love, respect, and truth prevails.
At midpoint now, what can we see about how far we have come and the path ahead? This is a Quest. By definition then, we are searching for something. Even if we are pretty sure what it looks like and where it is, we don’t have it yet.
This is the spot in our journey where we make a decision. It is just as far either way. We can continue or return with equal effort. What will you choose? Loving yourself is not easy. There is a lifetime of reasons why you shouldn’t. If your parents didn’t give them to you, it was your teachers, the kids at school, society, your friends or even lovers. By choosing to continue now, you are declaring all of them wrong. Every justification for judgment must be tossed. There is no exception. The only rule is love. Absolute, complete acceptance of every part of you is what’s required.
You have no faults. Every “but” in your head right now must go. You stand without requirements. Perfection needs no improvement. Oh, you may want to change your hairstyle, get in shape, get a new job or a new outfit. These are all choices you desire, not needs that are necessary to make you worthy.
There is much speculation (and misinformation) about the events that may transpire during December 2012. Some refer to this time as the "Great Shift" in consciousness, the "Ascension;" others call this time the "Rapture," the beginning of the "Golden Age." This sounds like good news, yet many are frightened. Although it's true we may be living through the most challenging time in the evolution of this planet, it's challenging because we have to let go of things (even though we are letting go of the things that don't work, the systems that are unsustainable).
Dr. Eric Pearl (known for his work "The Reconnection") says the following about December 21, 2012, "We will wake up that morning and still be able to see ourselves in a mirror." I agree, and offer some of my own insights.
