An impulsive, yet strong Solar Flare, just took place around Sunspot 1598. The latest event measured X1.8 and peaked at 03:17 UTC Tuesday morning. Impulsive solar flares do not usually produce large Coronal Mass Ejections, however I will provide updates as new information comes in. The image and movie below both captures the flare in progress.
UPDATE: It does not appear that this event produced a large Coronal Mass Ejection (CME). Future eruptions within the days ahead may provide a different outcome.

It has been over a century since DNA was discovered and yet scientists still have not understood the true roles of DNA and its relationship to our health. One of the main reasons for this is because most scientists are only studying the surface of DNA which consists of nucleotides, sugars, phosphate and amino acids.
MessageToEagle.com - Rapid, almost sudden, changes take place in the Earth’s magnetic field.
A German-French group of geophysicists observed that - changes in the earth's magnetic field in a region stretching from the Atlantic to the Indian Ocean - have a close relationship with variations of gravity in this area.
From this it can be concluded that outer core processes are reflected in gravity data. This is the result presented by scientists in the latest issue of PNAS.
The main field of the Earth's magnetic field is generated by flows of liquid iron in the outer core. The Earth's magnetic field protects us from cosmic radiation particles.
