Visionkeeper – The Long Wait – 15 June 2012

It was last September when I began the One World Rising blog. My main purpose was to awaken people to what was going on in the world, the lies, the cover ups and to hopefully bring people together into the light where we could all work together to bring about a new world. It has become a long wait to reach our goal I know.
At times the wait for the shift in consciousness becomes so long and frustrating we sometimes doubt it will ever materialize. I think if we step back and look closely at all that has gone on we will see a great deal of change has already been underway but we are too close to it all to notice. I mentioned this once with an analogy about owning a new puppy and how friends can see it growing by leaps and bounds but we ourselves are too close to notice as much. Things are happening one small step at a time. It makes me think of fads over the years and how it takes a certain amount of people(energy) wanting something to push it over the edge into the fad category. We are waiting for that same group energy now to be powerful enough to push our consciousness over the edge where everyone will follow suit.
I remember many, many years ago when I first began to shop at health food stores and later to eat only organically. Food you could get back then was so limited and never in a million years would you expect to get it in local grocery stores. It has taken time, but change came bringing with it many new healthy and organic foods being offered. We don’t give it a second thought, but if we did we would see how far we really have come, one small step at a time. The same is true with what is going on in our battle for the light. Many changes are occurring but we may not notice them. Being a little more aware of our world would help with this dilemma. Practice the art of big picture thinking to put the world into perspective!
The number of people who are questioning everything now has grown expeditiously and I am sure most bloggers covering what is going on are seeing a large influx of viewers who are logging in, looking for answers. I think it is important for us to take our focus OFF of the big shift moment and just settle in for the journey. In the beginning it was understandable with the excitement and newness of it all, but now we understand more and can see that the process is gradual and that our energies are acutely needed at this time instead, for doing work within ourselves. Things are changing much more than we realize. Everyday I bump into someone who is now awake that I never thought would be.
So the wait draws on and the anticipation grows. Have you ever heard about a really good movie everybody is talking about and by the time you finally go to see it, it is somewhat of a letdown from all the hype? Let us not anticipate too wildly about what is going to transpire. It may not be a big boom we notice but may continue on as small bangs. Once again, our anticipating what will happen is taking our much-needed energies away from other things we should be doing. If we have to wait, let us make the most of it and spend time on cleaning out ourselves so we are ready for whatever comes along. We may well need to be of service to others, but we have to have done our own work within to be able to reach out to others.
It is summertime now and our long winter hibernation has ended. Let us get out in the sunshine and spread our wings and enjoy our liberation from the cold. Have picnics, go for walks, ride your bikes, have cookouts, do all the wonderful things the warmth of summer offers us and just be one with all we are doing. Stay in the moment of what is happening and enjoy it fully. This is a good time to work on bringing together our community through these activities so they are familiar with one another and can help one another if need be. If times get tough we will definitely need each other so start strengthening your roots now. It is up to us to make the long wait into a happy journey.
