In the final parting of the curtains of duality
before the glorious new dawn,
walking my last steps through the corridors
of the Temple of Initiation,
I pause...waiting for a sign,
lest I make a mistake,
lest I step off course,
lest I fall to complete my final testing.
Slowly, but steadily,
I feed the totality of my being
into the sacred fire
waiting for a sign of renewal.
I, who have given my all for aeons,
who has served with total obedience,
must face yet another challenge,
must purify ever more layers of my being
until that most private inner core lies naked....
wide open...unprotected....vulnerable.
Welcoming the final annihilation
that I may be released of all illusion,
that I may rise like the wonderous Phoenix,
Reborn anew....Unfettered....Free...
