~Astrology June 19, 2011: Mercury Opposite Purging Pluto~
COSMIC WATCH:
“You leave old habits behind by starting out with the thought, ‘I release the need for this in my life.’” Wayne Dyer
The cerebral Aquarian Moon invites us to dissect our humble lives with more Einstein-like detachment. Although, intellectual Mercury in sensitive Cancer’s opposition to bullying Pluto in repressed Capricorn can make doing so a bit of a challenge, as this intense mental influence often finds us psychologically wrestling with more complex issues from our past. (Pluto stands rule over our subconscious forces. Mercury in familial Cancer also tends to feast upon yesterday’s news.)
Expressing our deepest thoughts and feelings (purging) may be healthy now, in a bid to “clear the air,” but we do want to purposefully avoid being overly confrontational (no shouting matches) or defensive. Mercury-Pluto, on the shadow side, has amassed quite an impressive portfolio regarding obsessive thinking, secrecy, suspicion, and resentment.
With that said, this is one of those days when we may just be able to finally crack the ultimate mysteries of the Universe. (Mercury-Pluto is always superb for any kind of detective work. The Aquarian Moon also helps to make us super bright.) Or, at least in my case, figure out where that lowly can of split pea soup may be hiding in the over-packed cupboard. I know I saw it in there the other day. It’s got to be there.
“I love my father as the stars – he’s a bright shining example and a happy twinkling in my heart.” Terri Guillemets
